The execution has been amazing. At no point have been turned by some of the holy crap that have soured me on some of the other Star Wars serious. The characters feel real and kinda lived in and grounded. Bix may also be the hottest character I've seen in the Star Wars universe, and that includes metal bikini Leia. Gotta say, some of the plot points may hit a little close to home today.

Im partial to Dedra.

I agree that its an interesting look at the nuts and bolts of the empire. Too much Jedi stuff last few years, I agree. Did like Obi-wan and Skeleton Crew though.

Adria Arjona is hot in whatever movie or tv show she is on. I even loved her on Morbius

Did you guys watch Acolyte? I thoroughly enjoyed it. Not sure why it got so many haters. Then again, I love anything Star Wars

I thought it decent. Some of the best fight choreography I've seen in a Star Wars product. The ending, especially with the dude from Squid Games, didn't seem fleshed out.

Watched the new season of "Love, Death, and Robots. Its an awesome all CGI series. One episode called "Gologtha" has some of the most realist CGI people Ive ever seen. Especially when they speak. Getting the lips to move in a realistic way has always been one of the biggest problems with CGI people, and it looks like they've gotten past that obstacle.

Finished watching Andor, what a great show.

Watching "Muderbot" not bad.

Watched "Metalocalypse:Army of the Doomstar". The TV show was fing hiliarious. But the movies take themselves too seriously.

Watched the finale of the "Last of Us" doubt I will be watching another season. "Ellie" isnt what you would call a sympathetic character anymore. Which doesnt make the show much fun. Can work in the movies. But an hour long TV series is something else.

Ellie goes through a journey of emotional discovery from what I understand. I don't like that they stopped in the middle of the story. I think they could have delved a little deeper into the ongoing "war." I'll watch it when it returns, but I feel a bit underwhelmed. Especially coming of the Andor finale.

I agree 100! And I hate to say this cause Ellie is supposed to be a kid on the show but Bella Ramsey is difficult to look at and her acting sucks. Like you say, she doesn't come across as a sympathetic character and she's not attractive at all.

In the original story which is a game not a book depicts Elle is a crazed revenge seeking killing machine.
Bella Ramsey starts as a 14 year old but 5 years go by and she evolves into Joel.
The series kind of run its course and now transitions to Abby's story to Seattle and what happens there.
It will take 18mos or two years for next season.
Season one was great and most of Two was really quite good. The trip to Seattle is not a good plot and perhaps a vehicle for the new plot line.
Joel could come back as they might revisit some things over that 5 year time line.

A Chinese paraglider who was accidentally propelled more than 8,000 metres high by an updraft has been banned from the activity for six months after a video of his ordeal went viral.

Peng Yujiang began from an elevation of about 3,000m in the Qilian mountain range in northern China, where he intended to test a new second-hand equipment purchase without making a proper flight, according to an investigative report by the Gansu Provincial Aviation Sports Association.

However about 20 minutes into his practice he was caught in a strong updraft, which sent him soaring more than 5,000m higher, in line with flight paths and nearly the height of Mount Everest.

Video from Peng’s mounted camera showed him above the clouds and covered in icicles as the temperature dropped to a reported -35C, as he tried to control his equipment.

In a video filmed shortly after landing, Peng recounted the experience.

“My hands were frozen outside. I kept trying to talk on the radio,” he said.

Authorities praised Peng’s survival, conceding it was an accident. A “normal person cannot be exposed at 8,000m without oxygen [so] this is not something that can be done voluntarily” said a sports bureau official, according to Sixth Tone.

But Peng, who has about five years’ experience paragliding, never intended to leave ground level and so had not registered any flight plans, meaning his ordeal was “not subject to relevant approvals”, the report said. In response he was banned from flying for six months.

The bureau report, based on an interview with Peng, said he was in the air for more than an hour, and had stayed in radio contact with his friend, Gu Zhimin, who was still on the ground.

The report said he had attempted to descend but his efforts were “ineffective”, and as he flew higher he became confused and briefly lost consciousness.

Peng was eventually able to land about 30km from the launch site, where he was met by Gu and another friend.

Sydney Sweeney is appealing to her more rabid fan base with the release of a new soap product containing her actual bath water.

The Euphoria actor is one of the most sexualized stars in Hollywood and often faces unsolicited comments about her body from fans — some of whom have even expressed their desire to consume her bath water.

“When your fans start asking for your bathwater, you can either ignore it, or turn it into a bar of Dr. Squatch soap,” Sweeney said in a press release announcing her new “Bathwater Bliss” soap.

I really try to stay away from the Ellie/Bella Ramsey drama which most of the TLOU fandom has jumped into since the beginning of the TV show, despite me honestly agreeing to most critics.
I love the games, also the second one which by itself stirred a lot of drama cause ppl struggled with playing both Ellie and Abby... I loved it... I think it was the most brilliant type of story telling I have experienced in a game till today!

I liked Season 1 and enjoyed Season 2... but honestly all in all it just feels rushed and not living up to the full potential of the story packed in the games!!!
I miss a lot of the little details building up the atmosphere... the Seatle gate scene or the struggles in Bills town in Season 1... could have/should have had at least 3 more episodes for me in each season building up more on the games.
