Feels similar to the strategy Utah used when they nabbed D Mitchell. Not mad at this.

Love that this new regime is playing close to the vest....

I would love Okoro at 8, Grant Riller at 27, Isiah Stewart at 38.

I feel like 8 is between Okoro and Vassell.

Based on what I seen Okoro has a much higher ceiling. Vassell could turn into a great shooter though

I can see Quickley being the pick @ 27

I think they draft Quickley too but we’ll trade up from 38 to get him at the end of the 1st round.

Agreed unless Obi/Hali falls, then it gets interesting.

Yeah I can see Okoro and Quickley being the most Thibs players in the draft.

Vassell is up there too I just don’t think he has the same level of upside Okoro has. Yeah he can’t shoot but his slashing and driving is elite. Plus elite BBIQ and defense.

Quickley feels like a player that if the tournament had happened he would have been drafted late lottery. He has the tools, he just wasn’t asked to display them. He also potentially could fit next to RJ even better than Frank.

Quickley is a very safe bet to end up here. My final guess is Vassell at 8, Flynn at 27, and Quickley at 38.

Agreed on Quickley. He's talented enough to get picked just outside of the lottery (16-30). He can score at all three levels...Very good 3 point shooter, has one of the best floaters in the draft and he is a decent one-on-one defender. I like him or Bane at 27. Not sure Quickley will be there at 38.

Can't really. Isaac is a better athlete and is bigger. Winslow actually shot 42% from three at Duke and might've been more skilled. I think injuries have held Justise back more than anything.

A few years back we had a chance to draft a safe/solid player (M.Bridges) and instead swung for the fences with Knox - supposedly because he outplayed Miles Bridges who is 3-4 shorter than him in a 1on1 game. I really hope if we stay at 8 and the expected players are drafted ahead - we select D.Vassell. He seems solid and like a Mikal Bridges with slightly more potential (longer, faster, some ability to create own shot). While Mikal Bridges will likely always be a 3 and D role player - sometimes just filling a position with a good/solid player is better for team chemistry. Look at Booker and his progress this year - a lot of the improved bubble play involved Bridges. Suns just got rid of Oubre which says a lot for their commitment to Bridges. Would be nice to have another 2 way player that can defend wings, and doesn't get targeted on defense by other teams.

Okoro is a better defender, better motor, and not as ball dominant. Justise is more like Ben Simmons a point forward who can’t shoot but can defend. whereas Okoro reminds me of a younger Jaylen Brown than anything else. He has a great motor, should be able to finish in the paint as a slasher and can play off ball.

Also in college a lot of Winslow’s 3’s were because of catch and shoot. Okoro has a few more 1 step dribble 3’s and catch and shoot 3’s.
