big series starts tonight guys. i got denver in 7.

key to the series imo is bynum's health and attitude. he looked better in game 7 and his ups and downs will be a major factor in this series. odom is silly putty and gasol cna be taken out of a game with one nice smack to the head (hello misters martin and nene).

Coach KG is not happy.

Look at the guy trying to blow in Marburys ear!

Marbury made it past the first round, and a GAME seven. The true test of a mans inner cool is how he handles pressure. Anyone see his three turn overs in the first half? He spazzed out! Was comical.

Boston really needed him and he never returned to form. I don't know if he ever can.

Pierce's legs really got heavy and what ever form or fundamentals he has gets even worse as the game goes on. To look at him its amazing he is as productive as he is. Ray Ray on the other hand has a polished form to got with his head and looks strong. He had a bad series.

Charles Barkley things Orlando matches up well with the Cavs and thinks they can win. He also thinks either Hedo or rashard has to go next season. Orlando came together with SVG. They could have easily crumbled being down to the defending world champs but they did not. Young team blowing out boston in a game 7 in boston even without KG on the floor is pretty impressive.

Cavs might finally have a test. Orlando is deeper.

first, whatever barkley says you can throw right out the window. preferably, you shouldn't even hear what he has to say. but we do, so...

second, there is no way the magic can mess with the cavs, match ups scatch pups, look at how much trouble they had with the crippled celtics..imagine what the cavs will do to them?

and howard had 9 shots this game, but he is happy now, so his 'i need more shots' stunt was obviously frivolous.

They won, so he is happy, but Im sure he still has a problem with only 9 shots.

This will be a continuing story rather than a thing of a game or two.

It would come across as a terrible, "me first" attitude to *publicly* complain about your number of shots in the game in which your team won the series. I wouldn't make anything out of the fact that he didn't speak publicly about the topic.

of course, i am jus' sayin' that one night he's pissed about 10 shots and the next he's happy about 9...obviously it's not the number of shots that is the issue, the real issue is somewhere deep within howard.

Might the issue be as simple as Howard not needing to be the focus in all games, but feeling that when the chips are down and the outside shots aren't falling, the smart thing to do would be get him the ball?

maybe so mark, but this is not how he phrased the problem and it is not what he had us believe this whole time.

Doc Rivers is terrible at matching up.

Why do you play Tony Allen a mere 2 minutes 13 seconds against a forward rotation of Lewis Hedo and Pietrus?

Its armchairing but why not give a diff look and start Allen at the forward to chase around Hedo and used Big Baby at the backup 5 for that one night and put more speed and ball handling out there on the perimeter esp with Pierce being worn out like he was.

the stop underrating David Lee movement 1. FIRE MIKE 2. HIRE MULLIN 3. PAY AVERY 4. FREE NATE!!!

Isn't Tony Allen more of a SF? Paul Pierce's position?

Tony Allen is like 6'5". You want him to guard the 6'10" Turkoglu or the 6'10" Rashard Lewis? Both will back him down and score at will.

they coulda possibly won had they played the bench more and used some diff backcourt combo other than mainly going Rondo-Ray/Steph-House... i'm convinced. Perhaps they could've used Steph at the 2 with Rondo for stretches and see if they could get him out of that I gotta be pass(ive)-first all the time mindset he had been playing with

I like my chances of Allen being able to go chest to chest with either of them on the block

vs

having big baby be forced to chase one of them around the perimeter all night

Do you mean someone is going to show up in the Nuggets locker room and tell them Lee would have signed with the Knicks for much less at the beginning of the season?
