Subtraction by addition. Too many people who need the ball in their hands to be effective. Goran, Kyrie, Kevin, Ben. And only one ball.

Signs certainly pointing to him either being out of the Pelicans next season (complete disappearing act, refusal to contact CJ after the trade), only question is whether he ends up on another team or if he's on the Greg oden/Mike Sweeteny etc path.

Would you take the risk and trade for him this offseason, or stay well clear?

Doing the Raptors dirty- they were more than generous, letting him sit out because he didn't want to be there, and he repays them by signing with a division rival in time for the playoffs. Another 'sit out and sulk' a-hole for the Nets! Dragic, Kyrie and Simmons all chose not to play for most of the season (and former Net harden also sulked and mailed it in)- award winning culture there! Imagine the message it sends out if they won

I'd risk trading him for Randle as I feel that's a low risk move.

would definitely trade for him

i don't see this as Oden or Sweeteny so much as AD, Ben Simmons, Harden etc.

From day 1 i think Zion was not thrilled about NO. And if he thought the draft were somehow rigged all the more so. League thinks about the teams and owners but players get second fiddle???? I'll show them -- that kind of thing

NO in my opinion has not done a lot to inspire confidence that they can build something around Zion

Zion is amazing but Knicks need to focus on filling that PG position

CJ, Jonas and Ingram are a lot more than what LeBron had in his first three years in the league. Yet LeBron did not whine and simply took on the task to do his own best to make his team a contender. When that did not work out, he bolted, but until then he had simply given his best every night. That is champion’s mentality. Zion is yet to show it.

I have always believed that Zion is an ultimate overhype piece, and was actually glad that the Knicks did not get the number one pick where they would have had to draft him. I am also skeptical about trading for him. It will become a bombastic and expensive star phucking undertaking dwarfing the Melo trade, and result in several seasons of drama and circus that will ultimately end in tears and recrimination.

I feel we would be better off counting on some turnaround from Randle instead.

LeQuitting on his team in the playoffs says hello. And I suppose perfecting flopping is part of a "champion's mentality".

What would we have to give up to get someone NO obviously doesn't think is worth including in their advertising? If it's not every rook and a boatload of 1st round picks, maybe he becomes the alpha we haven't had since Melo.

And please, for the billionth time, revisit in your mind what was involved in the Melo trade. Bombastic overstatement indeed, Batman.

Zion is yet to show anything because he's injured constantly. Which was what the general consensus was when he was drafted. Maybe a change of scenery and being re-united with the MSG Duke show changes his eating habits?

This is good for the Knicks, Brock Aller is off their radar for now.

Or why didn't Lebron simply tell Bosh and/or Wade to come to Cleveland.

NO traded Adams and a high pick for Jonas and the pick whose name i already forgot because he's floundering. Jrue is gone. Lonzo is gone. they picked that smurf pg who has been riding pine. Why would Zion want that, and if he felt he was placed there as some rigged consolation prize for NO's loss of AD i'd imagine that's infuriating too.

Everyone comments on his size but not seeing a lot of commentary recently about NO using him as a point pf. how is that a smart idea?

Anyway, I have no idea what's going on in his head or his real health issues but he always seemed like a decent guy in interviews. And if we had the chance to get him we should definitely be all over that (with appropriate due diligence of course)
