Well said. We are not deficient so we are taking care of our own.

Im able to enjoy Lin and hope he is in the league a long time.

We moved on because the season started. I know I was upset in the off season how things went but we are doing just fine.

As a "somberite" its reasonable to not "Believe" every thing will work out because knicks have not been very good about personel decisiions for a long time and our record stands as the only tangable record to base that opinion on.

The season had to start to move on and now we see whats happening. Lin is a work in progress in a time we needed a team to come together now.

Given the financial consisderations of the CBA and how a contract can effect one team vs. another we did make a proper choice to let him slide.

NO doubt many of us would prefer otherwise but its a new ball game with new rules.

Thank the Lord Jesus, one of the Somber Six has seen the light!

Bang for your buck for contention of the core's 3 years, wasn't that hard to understand.

Babysteps Guns babysteps.

Chuck what i meant that everyone has a right to their opinion. Now i agree we made the right decision on lin however i have no problem with knick fans being happy for him when he plays well as long as its not against us

That's fine, just don't be surprised when you see alot of negativity towards him on a Knicks board.

Sorta "If you're not with us, you're against us" mentality.

Like you said everyone has opinions. Things didn't work out, he's happy and paid, good luck to him, and hope he has a long career.

That said, on December 17th, you can bet your ass I'll have my "Boo-bird" cap on and will be poo-poo'ing the shyt out of him.

Those 2 will forever be linked to the Knicks until the Knicks do something significant.

Then the chatter will subside, and all will be happy.

I am enjoying the Knicks ride. If I want to denigrate players not on the Knicks, why not? Isn't that part of fandom?

I'm sure those 2 guys are good peoples outside the basketball world. Why are you so worried about what Knicks fans say about their (usually) average or mediocre performances?

Its like when you want the ex girlfriends to marry a loser and forever think how great life would have been if she stayed.

Dlee, Gallo, Lin, etc are guys we parted with and if they do really well then knicks look stupid.

ANd fans look stupid.

As if we needed anymore help.

What if the ex girlfriends did marry the loser?

Could be the case here.

Just watched the Lin highlights from last night. Honest question - how long of a career can Lin reasonably expect to have if he keeps attacking the rim and crashing to the floor like that?
Glad he had a big night, but I won't dub it Linsanity 2.0. Half the fun of Linsanity was coming away with the win (some of them more improbable than others). Good moral victory for a young team last night though.

Houston plays Washington on Wednesday. If ever there was a chance for another follow up performance...
*EDIT* GS plays Miami the same night. I'll have to opt for another ex Knick. Lee's looking good.

Great point about the the total disregard for his body. When the refs actually start giving him respect and get he same calls that Parker is getting then his body should get some relief. One fact that is evident last night, he can take anybody off the dribble one-on-one.

Good Point. I've noticed lin gets a lot of hate and even Gallo. Just because they're playing for another team doesnt mean that you can't wish them well as long as its not against the knicks of course haha

Lin and Gallo get a lot of hate because of their fan base. There are alot of ex knicks in the league, but the fans of those players are ridickulust.

That doesn't bode we'll for Felton. I thought it'd be higher for Felton since you know, Lin's been playing like a scrub.

Steve Nash's delayed return to the Los Angeles Lakers has more to do with nerve irritation in his lower left leg than the fracture he suffered, sources told Yahoo! Sports.

Wouldn't worry about it. As soon as Harden is back to playing Lin will get around 9 shots a game.

MDA was just asked by a reporter about not preaching defense.

MDA: "now you are starting to piss me off!"

Getting mad in the post game, telling the reporter he is "starting to piss me off", when being drilled about Kobe ball hogging and Defense perpetration.
