I just hope we don't include Deuce if we trade Towns.

Trading KAT would give more flexibility to extend Deuce.

Deuce might not be in the rotation in the playoffs and that’s ok. Knicks will be counting on him big time next season after Shamet, Alvardo and Clarkson all leave.

There is no way he wouldn’t be in rotation unless he is still injured, he that good and important enough for Knicks

Who is leaving the rotation? Alvarado? I don’t know about that his defense and energy are infectious

Energy and lineup combos that work will determine the rotations

Clearly Deuce wasn’t ready to come back. He needs to sit out rest of the season and playoffs we got Alvardo and Shamet will be back for the playoffs. Knicks are going to be relying heavily on Deuce next regular season.

I trust the Knicks medical staff so if they felt Deuce was ready last night, he was ready last night. Shit happens. Fingers crossed it's nothing serious.

Getting this version of Deuce back was so necessary and has mostly made up for the Bridges problems.
That Brunson, McBride, Hart, OG, KAT lineup is really good.

Deuce and Shamet clicking is what the team needs to pull away in tighter games

I agree. I’ve been down on shamet though. I appreciate him as a minimum guy who has helped us during the regular season, but I think at some point I think the expectation of him became greater than what it should be. Still, I am glad Deuce is back in rhythm and anything we get from shamet is a nice bonus to me. I got high on shamet as the season progressed, but I think I got a little too high on him.

Their games contribute similar attributes with the key difference being Shamet's size and strength makes more capable of guarding swing players Deuce cannot handle.

but on offense their contributions are quite similar. It will come down to who is hitting their shots then.

Deuce will shoot without hesitation most of the time whereas shamet will hesitate from time to time. That is the main difference on offense.
