I've only vaguely heard of him...I'm not that old Marv!

But I can tell you that I have made an absolute living playing pick up ball by shooting bank shots. I've pissed off so many guys shooting banks, I can't even tell you.

I can never understand why the glass has fallen out of favor, it softens your shot, it gives you a visual aid, it just increases your percentages all around.

Adam Morrison looks well mannered in a suit on the Lakers bench. Wasn't he known for a tall guy who can take and make a lot of 3 pointers with a lot of bravado. Larry Bird v2.0 or something like that.

- shard lewis deal sucks. way overpaid. stupid magic.
- svg ain't gonna get you over the hump.

what i see since signing shard and svg:

52-30, makes the 2nd round
59-23, looking like they'll make the ECF

- yeah...but they'll never win a title...

puh-lease. the team is winning crazy games...winning many post season games...and is giving their fanbase a team to get behind. it's not always title or bust. only the lucky few get to challenge for the title, with luck being the operative word.

what makes jerry sloan or d'antoni great coaches but svg not one? this is the 2nd team he's taken to the conference finals.

I don't know what to think about SVG. Shaq got him fired and Dwight Howard called him out so I dunno what to think. I know Jerry Sloan's players wont do that.

I am not sure about D'Antoni either. Lets see what happens in 2010.

shaq talked crap about pat riley too. shaq is a fool. if dwight got the ball every time down the court, the magic would not be able to win 59 games. he is not the player to take 20 shots a game. he doesn't have that type of game yet. and they did this without their starting pg.

And we officially will have a new champ.

So Denver/LA for the West title and Orlando/Cleveland for the East title.

I wonder if the Nuggets will get "KING"ed.....

Dwight was wrong, great players DEMAND the rock.

SVG conf finals. His team grew up.

Marbury looked jumpy and awful at times.

KG got a bad knee. This team might not have won last year, but with Jefferson and the picks they might have had a better future.

Starphuching has its downside.

...And I just saw Howard give credit to the Supreme Being, not SVG, for their victory over the Celtics. Howard said he told his team to play hard, and the Deity would do the rest. No props at all for SVG before I turned it off because of the religion overload.

Quite an insult to their coach...
