Detroit has been linked to him for a while now and he's a perfect SVG guy.

1000% agree. I'd want a pick next season and a pick in the late lottery this draft or that plus a young vet though that's probably out of reach (but hey you never know).

Reely though I'd rather keep 4 even if that means Mudiay.

exactly. I dont want to trade just for the sake of trading or if we miss out on the big 3. Unfortunetly as a knick fan you just know they will do something dumb. Lets be honest the reason we are picking 4th is because we decided that the last 3 games were more important than winning the lottery lol.

Terrible how the ping pong balls betrayed the odds and the Knicks, but losing those games did not drop us from 2nd to 4th.

Anything other than Kristaps, okafor or Russell will be an outrage. If Kristaps is there we have to take him. Have to!

We don't have to at all. Euro players are very risky to take this high. There are still very good prospects like mudiay and winslow there.

Yeah...

Mudiay was born in Africa and after attending Deion Sanders' bogus HS (probably done so he could just play ball and not worry about his studies), the only serious ball he played was 12 games in China, a country which has produced one good player, and a league where Von Wafer averaged over 30 PPG, and Marbury is the Chinese Jordan.

Now I put him in a category with OK4, Russell, and Porzingis as being a basketball junkie, but except for a fine HS career, he has not faced very good competition overseas, and at the very least, he played in a league where defense was an afterthought.

So are folks actually considering Mudiay to be an "American" player, since there seems to be some idea that foreign players lack the genetic ability to play BB, and he is foreign born and the only "high level" ball he played in was China.

Just wondering.

Batum is another for this list... came up lacking strength, but is now a great all around player and superior defender.

lol. THANK YOU!

Knicks should be improved: win about 40 games and maybe sneak into the playoffs. Melo, Rose and even Noah will have some nice moments however this team should be about PORZINGUS. the sooner they make him the primary player, the better

Posted this a a few weeks ago, and still thinking that once the hype dies down the order will go back to what it was weeks ago and we'll be disappointed.

Towns/Oka4 1st or second.
3. Russell
4. Mundiay

After the hope of Portzingus moving up into the top three, fear will rule the day and anyone taking him over the 4 is taking a risk.

why would we take mudiay over kristaps? why would we take winslow over kristaps?

if we do either, it's really a slap in the face of the fans. phil would just be pandering to melo and looking after his short term window.

If you are referring to StarksEwing he did put a qualifier in his statement saying "this High" so the player you mentioned do not really qualify.

The thing that worries me most about Russell is that there's a fine line between being the next Curry vs the next Jamal Crawford. You think tall pg, shoots the lights out, heats up... well, you just don't know. Sometimes they struggle before finding their niche. Some never find it (think Fredette).

First off lets be clear, Phil is not slapping fans in the face because he cannot control what we feel or think.

If it was up to me I'd finish blowing this thing up and strip it to the core by trading Melo. I'd Draft Kristaps if the first three go as expected.
But.......I don't know what he is dong with melo and I don't know what he thinks he can get in Free agency. Some of us think we do.

Every year its the same, crazy hype before the draft and tons of prospective intrigue most which is fabricated by opinion via blogs and writers and in the end little of it comes to fruition, and thus was my point.

The order will most likey stand and Mundiay will be Phil's pick. He'll spend some time at the ranch getting brainwashed and be our Kobe in the next two years.

If Melo don't like that, phuch him. I don't mind trading him.

Mundiay with Monroe is a decent talent upside. Does that mean we dont' draft WCS? You know there is a lot of merit there where we have a kid who can guard 5 positions and can develope offensively while being a good contributer at the same time.

Is this all great and Sexy? not really. Draft will frustrate many and they'll go off on phil. These are starphuckers who beat up Phil because they think he's tool old and some 35 year old diciple of Pop lurks in a cubicle somewhere and has magical powers to change it all around using some mystical analytic formula! easy to beat up phil but nobody has a replacement. Easy to beat up fish but nobody has a replacement. Some even think Mark Jax would have been better!!!

So basically the draft I doubt provides any great drama unless there is a strong trade rumor and we are draftig for another team. Imagine the emotion of drafting Porzingus and then hearing......."We have a trade to announce.........."

Me, I trade Melo to bulls for Butler, draft Porzingus and sign Monroe. Don't know if bulls are down for that, but thats me.

Watch the video feed and his left eye quiver when he discusses Melo. Watch the video again in slo-mo BACKWARDS but use a Mirror at the same time.

You'll see what Im talking about, you'll be shocked to see what Phil is really going to do. In fact, this methoed actually shows the portal into his head the code to which access is given. Its a very narrow window to when you can get in and not just read his thoughts, but influence.

I have given the true instructions to Briggs whose efforts to implore phil to see things as he does might actually come to fruition!!!!
