I don't give a damn who you don't like. I don't care that much for Carmelo - I care that they win (by any means) I miss Lin I could care less about Gallo You shyt on every thread with your vendetta. Probably the biggest nuisance on this board but I am sure that you know that. SAD |

![]() If Harden sits out two more games and Lin goes off on another 20+/30+ game, the media is going to rekindle the Melo/Lin debacle except this time with Harden in Melo's position. And who knows what this means for Lin going forward. He could probably go off and average a sustainable 15+ PPG/7 APG. If he could that game after game, the Rockets will have earned their money's worth.
Big game for Lin going 38 on an elite team like Spurs. See what happen when Lin penetrates the paint? He goes 12/12 FT. |

Felton: .411 FG % and .407% from beyond the arc (3PT). Felton has averaged 15.7 shot attempts per game. Felton has shot the ball much better when compared to Lin. And Felton's hitting at a slightly lower rate? Wrong, he's hitting at a higher rate when compared to Lin. Also, Felton shooting 5 more shots per game when compared to Lin isn't taking "far more shots" than Lin... |

I don't think there will be a controversy because HOU's media market is small and it doesn't give two s.hits about its' basketball team. It's nice to know that Lin can score +30pts(twice) on less than 30 shot attempts. |

You don't like Carmelo? That's funny, because he's not only one of the greatest players in the world (see the Olympics) but he's also (by far) the greatest player on a team (the Knicks) that's currently the #1 seed of the Eastern Conference. You don't like the direction we've taken? Some "fan" you are. Because we're currently 15-5 overall, which is the strongest start to a N.Y season since the 1993-1994 season (16-5). Our best start in 19 years, but yet, a negative critic such as yourself "doesn't like the direction" we've taken? Pathetic. We could be on the verge of witnessing Franchise history. We've been around since 1946, but yet as a franchise, have only won our Atlantic Division 4 times. Winning our Atlantic Division is something in which we haven't done since 1994. Even our Ewing led Knicks could only manage two division titles. We've been a franchise for 66 years with only 4 division titles. That's an average of only one 1st place division finish per every 16.5 years. This current Knicks team is on the verge of doing it during only Carmelo's first full season as a Knick. As of right now we're currently first place of our Atlantic Division by 3 1/2 games. A chance to extend our lead to 4 1/2 games come later tonight. But yet, a fan such as yourself "doesn't like" the direction we've taken? Laughable. We're also first place of the entire Eastern Conference as of right now. Went into San Antonio and knocked off the 18-4 Spurs. Swept a home/away series against the 12-9 76ers. Murdered the 14-5 Miami Heat twice (each by 20 points). Dominated the NBA's Defending World Champions by 20 points x2. Also beat your favorite Denver Nuggets team while Melo dropped 34 during his return. We're 15-5 overall. 10 games above .500. First place of the Atlantic division. 1st place of the Eastern Conference. 5th in scoring offense. Averaging 102.8 points per game. 9th in defensive scoring, allowing an average of only 95.2 points per game (against). 3rd in point differential only behind the Spurs and OKC Thunder. Undefeated (8-0) at Home ala protecting home court. First in offensive turnovers per game (only giving up 10.9 turnovers per game). 4th in defensive turnovers forced (16.4) and 1st place in overall turnover differential. All of this success despite the fact that we've been without Iman Shumpert and Amar'e Stoudemire and for the most part, Marcus Camby. But yet, a fan such as yourself doesn't like the direction we've taken? Nice to know. Then, why don't you take your little basketball and become a full time Denver Nuggets supporter/fan? Leave the Knicks alone moving forward. Because lets be honest here, you love your favorite basketball player in the whole wide world (Gallo) and absolutely love the direction that a mediocre (at best) Denver franchise/team has taken. Denver's 10-11 overall. 1 game below .500. Fourth place of the Northwest division. 9th place of the Western Conference. 9th in scoring offense. Averaging 100.7 points per game. 26th in defensive scoring, allowing an average of 101.0 points per game (against). 15th in point differential. 5-1 home record (but can not win on the road). 28th in offensive turnovers per game (can not protect the basketball). 21st in defensive turnovers forced (can not create turnovers). 25th in turnover differential (doesn't win the turnover battle). But yet, you love the direction Denver is currently moving in... You really do know your basketball (being sarcastic). |

The way you guys rip on Lin, i'm surprised his fg% is that high. I thought it'd be somewhere around 30%. 16 shot attempts is still more than 11 and Lin's never had to take 30 shot attempts to score 27pts. For a PG, 30 attempts is a lot...even if you're the first option. |

![]() Lin finally had a great game, but lost, so all the Lin Homers are coming out of their holes. They have been waiting for this day for 1/4 of the season. LoL! Have at it. I am happy with Felton.

![]() Last night proves Lin can only put up numbers as the centerpiece with mediocre talent around him. 38 points is nice as a player, not nice as a point guard, and ultimately the team lost.
When the #1 option is in the game whether it's Melo or Harden, he's relegated to an average ballplayer. He can't play off the ball. |

![]() Lin matched his career high of 38 pts. ITs obvious being next to a max type player in Harden his numbers would not elevate. Its also reasonable that Harden and Lin had no cap together as harden was traded two days before the first game. With their coach on sabattical and the deletion of players used in the trade is reasonable to think the rockets are workin gon figuring things out. His 38 points speaks to his potential and capacity to play at this level. Im sure he'll continue to have his good days and struggles. hanging 38 in the NBA twice is no fluke. What kind of numbers he settles into is anyones guess. |
