tashing the knicks.. no I am pretty much trashing the donkey who wears the headband..... why do I need to validate ex players I already believe they are good, it is you guys who just can't take the fact I don't like carmelo or the direction this team has taken.... it kills you, which is why you are consistent with the ridiculous remarks and following me around from thread to thread....

You don't like Carmelo? That's funny, because he's not only one of the greatest players in the world (see the Olympics) but he's also (by far) the greatest player on a team (the Knicks) that's currently the #1 seed of the Eastern Conference.

You don't like the direction we've taken? Some "fan" you are. Because we're currently 15-5 overall, which is the strongest start to a N.Y season since the 1993-1994 season (16-5). Our best start in 19 years, but yet, a negative critic such as yourself "doesn't like the direction" we've taken? Pathetic.

We could be on the verge of witnessing Franchise history. We've been around since 1946, but yet as a franchise, have only won our Atlantic Division 4 times. Winning our Atlantic Division is something in which we haven't done since 1994. Even our Ewing led Knicks could only manage two division titles. We've been a franchise for 66 years with only 4 division titles. That's an average of only one 1st place division finish per every 16.5 years. This current Knicks team is on the verge of doing it during only Carmelo's first full season as a Knick. As of right now we're currently first place of our Atlantic Division by 3 1/2 games. A chance to extend our lead to 4 1/2 games come later tonight. But yet, a fan such as yourself "doesn't like" the direction we've taken? Laughable.

Averaging 102.8 points per game. 9th in defensive scoring, allowing an average of only 95.2 points per game (against). 3rd in point differential only behind the Spurs and OKC Thunder. Undefeated (8-0) at Home ala protecting home court. First in offensive turnovers per game (only giving up 10.9 turnovers per game). 4th in defensive turnovers forced (16.4) and 1st place in overall turnover differential.

All of this success despite the fact that we've been without Iman Shumpert and Amar'e Stoudemire and for the most part, Marcus Camby. But yet, a fan such as yourself doesn't like the direction we've taken? Nice to know. Then, why don't you take your little basketball and become a full time Denver Nuggets supporter/fan? Leave the Knicks alone moving forward. The way people worship Felton on here, I thought he'd have a higher fg%. The way you guys rip on Lin, i'm surprised his fg% is that high. I thought it'd be somewhere around 30%. 16 shot attempts is still more than 11 and Lin's never had to take 30 shot attempts to score 27pts. For a PG, 30 attempts is a lot...even if you're the first option.

Honestly I don't know what Felton has never done because his career is longer that 40 something starts.

Tkf, i understand you dont particularly like melo, and thats fine, but its not something you need to continually bring up nor should you have to interject everytime someone post something positive. This is a knick forum after all.

When the #1 option is in the game whether it's Melo or Harden, he's relegated to an average ballplayer. He can't play off the ball.

ITs obvious being next to a max type player in Harden his numbers would not elevate.

Its also reasonable that Harden and Lin had no cap together as harden was traded two days before the first game. With their coach on sabattical and the deletion of players used in the trade is reasonable to think the rockets are workin gon figuring things out.

His 38 points speaks to his potential and capacity to play at this level.

Im sure he'll continue to have his good days and struggles.

hanging 38 in the NBA twice is no fluke. What kind of numbers he settles into is anyones guess.
