People who claimed Joe Dumars was great GM, man up now. Isiah thomas has nothing on him. Traded Chauncey Billups away....what a Klutz!!!!

Uh, he still won a title in 2004.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

hey, mannnn...detroit with billups wasn't going anywhere. he made the best move he could and he didn't take much risk back in return. dumars deserves kudos for having the heads up to recognize the pistons are done...he is not a klutz yet. this offseason and maybe the next season will determine if he is a klutz, or a failure as a gm. also, given his championship as a gm in 04, he is forever an awesome gm. its really hard to win a championship in the league and everyone wants to, most fail..dumars didn't

The start of the game pretty much sewed it up. The Rockets could not execute and the Lakers took full advantage.

It's hard to hate on the Rockets though, they shouldn't even have made it to this point. The thing is, I am not even sure Ming would have helped because they don't feed him properly.

If they are smart they will flip brooks while he is hot for a proper point guard.

I have Denver beating the Lakers in 6.

Good luck Mike D'Antoni, 'cause you ain't never seen nothing like this before!

This is why I hate the NBA today. Any team with a Game 7 at home will win and win handily. There will never be a surprise upset.

The reffing in the playoffs has been abysmal. I'm not saying that is the factor today, but it has changed so many games.

Brooks is not a really good point guard. He can score his ass off, but he doesn't feed the post or set up the offense well, and he tends to pass as a last resort.

dear oohah,

in effect, you have two signiatures

edit:

i realize that david lee needs a beard. look at how tough scola plays with a beard. beards make you tougher right away.

edit:

who shoots a 19 foot bank shot, honestly?

Q: who shoots a 19 foot bank shot, honestly?

A: Sam Jones, Tim Duncan

A signature is one's name. The blurb at the bottom of every post should be considered more of a postscript.

I actually shoot bank shots all the time unless I am on the baseline or head on with the hoop. Nobody likes to believe it but the shot goes in more than most other guys I play with. This is especially effective playing outdoors on metal backboards.

The Lakers are too big for the Rockets and Brooks is doing a terrible job running the offense.

I'm telling you losing Mutombo (Or as I like to call him the first Hasheem Thabeet) then Yao was just devastating.

Even if they had Mutombo right now he could have made a big difference.
