![]() I missed this. Anyone able to catch the Edwards/Maxey pro day?

If we land one of Maxey, Okoro, Lewis or Terry I will be happy. Maxey is at the top of my list, though. |

![]() This is like a long wait in a restaurant poring over the menu..."the chicken looks good, but the chops here are supposed to be great. But maybe I should get the fish with a side salad...." And when your order gets there you look around the table and wish you had what they ordered.

Not worried about the misses in practice, but I'm a little concerned about his conditioning. I liked that Maxey is tweaking his shot for the better. Good athlete and he was in shape. He looked smaller out there to me for some reason. The wingspan is legit tho. Always... always remember: Less is less. More is more. More is better and twice as much is good too. I'm simply surprised that he hasn't watched Allan Houston's tutorial on shooting the basketball. To get this far, tweak, and still have an underaverage shooting form is a red flag for me. |

It looks better than it did in college. I'm more worried about how his size will impact his versatility on the court. He's a good athlete, but is he Mitchell level? Is Maxey explosive enough to start at the 2 with a J that's average, at best. Always... always remember: Less is less. More is more. More is better and twice as much is good too. ![]() Not the biggest fan of KOC's analysis, but he doesn't really BS and his sources are solid. Would it be too much of a red flag in the unlikely scenario that has Ball falling to us at #8?

Would it be too much of a red flag in the unlikely scenario that has Ball falling to us at #8? I've said for a while that I thought he would drop through. If its between him and Vassell at 8 I think I still go with Vassell. There's a reason players like him drop through. Personally I think he's a teens pick with at least 5 PGs who could easily draw as much if not more interest. I'm hoping (beyond hope) that Vassell is still there at 8 - he's just a perfect Thibs fit. But those tapes of his defensive prowess just shine. This entire draft is loaded with unknowns. Ball is the kind of guy that small market teams need. He's got a teeny bopper following cult-thing going which works on the left side of NY's America. |

But these latest Ball rumors make you raise an eyebrow. Are they enough to make Hayes the #1 choice at PG? Always... always remember: Less is less. More is more. ![]() Probably wowed all teams with off-the-charts stellar 3 point shooting, so everyone is keeping mum about him, hoping he'd slip to them.
