Wade had what? 17 in the elemination game. Look, I agree that Lebron was a bit too passive and should have forced the issue a bit more, but I think Carlise had a great game plan this series. He thouroughly out coached Spo....

Spolestra, for all the credit he got when the Heat started winning, could not get his team to play together. He could not get them to close games out and keep their heads in the game. I expect him to be replaced. Not saying it's exactly the right thing to do, but I think it's gona happen.

As for LeBron, he is no MJ, no Kobe, no Duncan, not even Dirk. Guy is a phenomenal talent, but doesn't have the stomach to be a leader and do what it takes to take a game in his hands.

Congrats to Dallas. I always loved Dirk. Knicks have to learn from how this team played. Always play hard is the moral of story.

"I need a better supporting cast to win an NBA title" Did King Lebron really say that?

Outside of the big 3 that team is not all that.

Problem with the Heat is the only person who gets "easy" point is Bosh off jumpers. Wade and Lebron have to work for their shots.

They need to revamp that offense this summer for sure.

Its going to be a long hot summer for them. Happy for Dirk and Kidd, whole team really. Gotta give credit to Cuban for sitting on his hands for the playoffs, couldn't of been easy.

Wade should change his ringtone for those T-Mobile commercials to Wa Wa Wa Waaaaaa.

Its time to give Carlise a ton of credit. That zone sealed off many penetration lanes, he slowed the game down the adjustments he made on the offensive end, won the Mavs this Chip.

I agree, he definitely outcoached Spoelstra. There were no adjustments by him, they didn't do anything to get LeBron going and they didn't go inside at all. It was like the last 5 games never happened. I always thought Carlisle was a good coach, he did well wherever he went but I think he had issues in the way he dealt with players since he couldn't stay with a team for very long, but obviously that's not the case anymore. The way they were spaced at the end to get all those offensive rebounds was something to see.

Spo ran a play in game 2 when Lebron was on the wing and ran off a rub/screen and curled into the lane. It was a beautiful play that we never seen much of since. He needed to get Lebron off the ball and get him moving, perhaps flex screens off the baseline, curls etc. All year, Miami played this kind of 1 and 4 box set where Lebron and Wade would take turns running the 1. That stagnated the offense way too much.

Also, he should have pick and rolled with Dirks man all day. They few times they did, they got good looks because of Dirks lack of foot speed. Just the little things that Spo never fully adjusted too, killed Miami.

Yeah, he spent too much time just standing around. For this game it might have helped if LeBron had the ball in his hands a bit more, there were long stretches were he wasn't involved and there were some times when he looked like he wanted to have no part of the offense, might also explain why they stopped going to him.

One of the problems I seen when Lebron decided to join Wade was the ability to share the ball and be successful. Both are rhythm players and score in bunches. When one is going off, the other is getting cold. With that said, they probably get another crack at it next year.

Very good point and one of the reasons why Spoelstra let Wade run the point while LeBron was on the bench and vice versa during the season. It worked for a while but I don't believe that would have been wise as a strategy in the finals, couldn't afford it. LeBron was showing no confidence in his game which wasn't a problem for Wade, I would have let him run it for a while and see what happens, that or getting him the ball in motion as you pointed out. Maybe more give and go, anything.

I fell asleep at the half, and woke up to the Commish presenting the trophy to the Mavs. Sucks there is no more NBA 'til who knows when!

Ditto to the classy vets stuff, at least regarding their on-court work (cough-Kidd-cough). Amazing they got there with Caron Butler out... another guy I'm glad to see get a ring.

As for the Superfriends, someone needs to explain the concept of hubris to them. And if Schadenfreude was a stock it would be at an all-time high right now. Makes me almost feel bad for them. Almost.

Lebron's chances of having a better career than kobe are slim to none.

Sorry to all James fans. Dude is a failure.
