Hell- forget the calls- you have one of the best shooters in the last 10 years going 3/14 in a Starksian effort. Allen could have easily hit 4 more shots.

This is true. I didn't really mean the calls, though. Ray Allen was awful on offense, as you said.

To be honest, though, I blame the loss on Nate Robinson. Just kidding.

I thought about that too. But it is no different than the Giants commercial after the Superbowl. They tape two ahead of time. Spoils the magic a little when you find out.

I missed today's game... I know, I know, how could I do this? Saw Karate Kid with friends instead. Glad I did, since I was rooting for the Celtics. Linked up with some Celtic supporters afterwards, one who was hella glum but was really a Knicks fan. I said: Duke, I wanted them to win, but until we got as many banners as the Celtics, I ain't ever gonna feel sorry for them. We got our own team to worry about for goodness' sake.

I gotta say, there is something about Lakers-Celtics that activates all these latent NBA fans in this area. I haven't heard this many ladies talking/tweeting/status updating about NBA basketball in I don't know how long. This playoffs was really entertaining and great for the sport, bringing back some of the public mindshare it had in the 90s.

well the celebrating really starts today for kobe. that's when he gets informed that he has just moved up onto my 3rd team all-time.
