can we get both??? From what I read, it appears to me that Frye is a pretty good player. He is just not as strong physically, but I like what he can bring to the table...Especially if he can block shots. He is much taller than anyone that we have on our roster minus the never used Bruno...

They are the same size and Frye is more NBA ready.

Actually they're not. Bynum weighed 300 lbs now is down to 275 where as Frye is 248 and is more comfortable on the wing rather then playiing with his back to the basket in the paint.

You actually think that a high-school young man is going to come in and be NBA ready, especially in the post??? That is insane...Big man takes forever to learn the Center position...Especially the young ones, see Curry, Kwame, O' Neal and others....Just because Lebron did well as a guard doesn't mean that everyone else will do the same...The guard position is the easiest position to play...

What? I said they aren't the same size and according to reports in workouts Frye is more comfortable scoring on the perimeter. Aren't you the one saying draft everyone and his brother as long as they're 6'10" or greater!

Yes, I did say that....At this point, I don't care who we draft, but if the two are on the board, I want whomever can come in and produce right away.

I just wanted to know who is better between the two, but it seems to me that most prefer Bynum because of the fact that he weighs 275/300

Can you all imagien a lineup of:
Marb
Crawf or better
Odoms
Sweetney or JB
Frye/Taft/Bynum/ and FA center

but what trade would entice the Lakers to part ways with Odoms????? I want this young man in a Knicks uniform,,,,I know that we may be able to find a player better than Odoms in the draft, but will that player ever see the court as a rookie???

We have at least 5 guys I would love to trade, can we put a package of big and expiring contract for Odoms??? it is very possible.

I don't want to hear anything about Shareef nor Walker at this point as a Knicks...Go young and that's it..

With our second rounder, if Akindale is still on the board, we have to pick him.

With the 8th pick we have to draft a future Center

with the 30th get a PF/C no shorter than 6'10"

with the second rounder, draft Akindale or another 7'

This is the draft where we should resolve our problems at the frontcourt and be set for the next 10 years...

That would give us, Sweetney, JB, Mo T., JYD, Akindale, Taft or Blatch or Bynum, and etc....

There is no question that Frye is coming in and having an impact. Bynum woudn't even play if he was drafted. Frye has experience playing against NCAA comp and in the tournament. There is really no comparison. Bynum is a 17 year old kid who played well in a high school all-star game. I am not saying he wont be good, but we already have Jackie Butler who was busting ass in the NBDL and hasn't played a 5 minute stratch, do you think a 17 year old boy is gonne get burn in a league of grown men even if he is 7-1 275?

Exactly. If we could somehow stash Bynum and actually grab him at 30 like several sites suggest, it would fine by me. But I really think Zeke is going to look for someone who can help THIS team. To me that makes the draft options at 8:

1) Taft
2) Frye
3) Warrick

the order I would want is:

1) Frye
2) Blatche
3) Bynum
4) Taft
5) Warrick

I think Vasquez is an outside possibility, as Zeke did all that scouting in Spain.

As is for now, the 3 picks should be spend on noone shorter than 6'10". I will keep on repeating it until it sinks in your heads......Akindale, Petro, Bynum, Taft, Frye....These are the guys that we should draft....
