Go Knicks....

This had got to be the best game of the year. Fuck Time Warner man....
I gotta look into the dish network or something.

I can't believe Craw went off the glass again in a NBA game. Even the high flyers like Vince or T-Mac have a little more restraint during real games. This was a playoff type of game.

From the highlights it looked liek the Knicks as a team were trying to destroy the Celtics. The look of determination was awesome. The bench was all over the place. Good for the Knicks!!!!

Butler has got to be the best garbage time 12th man crowd favorite or what lol.

So far I think it is safe to say that he has great touch around the basket.

I would like for him to get in better shape though, no defintion right now, kinda looks like Sweetney from the back with those rolls on the neck. But he is 19 and prolly has never had a personal trainer, so I'm pretty sure he can improve by a lot.

Awesome game, we are finally starting to play with an atitude and hussle, we totaly took Boston out of there game early with good physical play. That's how you gotta do it, punish them especially now that we have a zillion thick 6 8 guys, its not like faul trouble means anything, they are all about equal in value, except maybe for Taylor, even he had a great night today, I guess every dog gets his day.

We gotta keep the momentum going now.
A glimmer of hope maybe?!?

Knicks rattled them in the first few minutes after Boston had 3 consecutive layups. They played good D, consistently throughout the game and hammered the boards. Knicks were the tougher team.

I thought the Knicks D was pretty good throughout the game. The Boston D got better in the 2nd half but Knicks played well on D too. Ricky Davis did basically nothing on Crawford. Stephon played hard too. Walker had a lot of terrible shots and Boston wasnt doing well but I think that was a result of Knicks playing defense.

If the backcourt doesnt let up, I think the Knick D isnt that bad. Stephon can be consistent if he tries too. Crawford might be the guy that makes of breaks the Knick D on any given night. This guy plays defense if he is going well on offense. If his shots are falling, he is playing D too. I think Crawford is key to the Knicks defensive structure.

sweetney has regressed some. maybe he's just out of shape and tired. He really needs to come in 20-30LBS lighter next year. He doesn't have the lift he had earlier. Too many of his shots are being disrupted.

Great win though! good to see crawford and Mo play well. And I knew that the energy Rose brings would be contagious. You can never have enough Jyds, arizas and roses on your team! too bad Indy won...oh well can't do anything about that.

I just hope they can keep this up and go on a big winning streak which would mean finally start winning some road games. it would be a miracle if they all of a sudden started winning on the road

I can't believe, but these plucky bastards won. I'll give them credit: I NEVER thought they could win this game or the San Antonio one (with a little help from Duncs). Basically, if they can win two games on the West coast, they will be very much alive in April in a race to make the playoffs. Two games vs. NJN and two vs. IND.

You know what I liked the most about this game? The Knicks drove to the basket and got a lot of easy layups and dunks rather than settling for too many jumpers. Good agressiveness on offense tonight and once again the defense played well. Too bad Philly and Indiana won.

thats because Kurt Thomas is not playing. The defense is also better. Exactly how i've been predicting it would be like without Kurt for 4yrs. Too bad the joy will go away soon once Kurt returns on Friday. Well it was a nice to game stretch. Now back to boring basketball

Man, I missed the second half. One of my friend's grandmother passed away so I couldn't just ignore her. I'll have to catch it at 5 today.

bigtime. Rose and JYD really anchored the defense, especially on help. Everything was jumpers. Ariza was great on the glass. We really need to move Sweetney/KT for some more uptempo players. Both for Desmond Mason would be perfect.

This was the best team game I have seen in a couple years on both sides of the ball. We really scambled on D and attacked the glass. Tons of Knicks crashing the boards all the time.

Anytime you can slow Paul Pierce down in a game, you will have a chance to win....TT got on his nerves and pretty much took him out,,,,,,I don't know, did the two of them got ejected or something?, because the stats sheet shows that they both have played for less than 25 minutes each...

Dido...they both had like 4 fouls early on so they didn't play many minutes. Tim was very agressive early, but when he got in foul trouble, Ariza and JYD came in and did just as well, so there was no reason to force Tim back in the game.

the most shocking development of the post all-star Knicks is Tim Thomas growing a heart. what a weird guy. I can't help but be happy for him, and at the same time hate him for not doing this in January. I don't trust him for next year.

Tim Thomas was playing great for stretches late last year too. He's always been one to flash. That's why he's frustrating. The key is getting his post up game working. He was off early in the year and we went away from it completely. When he was going well last year he posted a lot too...
