It looked really good for us tonight. I did know that Herb was going to kick some fire in our boys behinds tonight. We embarassed ourselves the other night in Orlando, and it sort of was a wakeup call.....Good win, especially good performance from our players....They did the right thing by going to TT tonight. I felt that it was a huge mistake for not going to him in Orlando. The Knicks (Marb, Crawf, and others) need to realize that this guy can be a huge asset if use properly. They need to run plays for him and let the ofense go through him instead of having Crawf shoot his low percentage shots....Crawf in 31 minutes took 9 shots and missed 6 of them, 5 of them were from long range. Herb definitely has to limit Crawf from shooting the ball if we want to win games.

I root for Tim Thomas more than any player on the Knicks I can remember. An aggressive Tim Thomas taking 20 shots a game can be one of the best players in the game. Regardless of what anyone says, if Tim Thomas is getting at least 15 shots a game, and keeps playing aggressively (as in not taking fade away, off-balance 18 footers when a 6'5 guy is guarding him), I think the Knicks become not only a .500 team, but one of the good teams in the east. With him playing well, I think the only team with a clear advantage over the Knicks is the Heat. I guess I have to give an advantage to the Pistons too, because the Knicks still don't play D, but other than that, I'm not giving any teams the edge in the East. If Tim Thomas plays like he usually does, the Knicks deserve to be under .500... that's how I see it.

Crawford can have big games, but his games will come when his shot is on.. Tim Thomas can take over a game, because he can post up. He doesn't need to be shooting well, but it seems he's a lot more confident with his shot when he gets those easy, post-up baskets. It all comes down to TT.

It is obvious that TT has to be featured in this offense. He is comfortable with Herb and as you all can see, he has been working his rear end off on both ends of the court. A total revamp of what we used to do is extremely necessary. Crawf is not a consistent player, he settles too much for the 3s. As a result, Herb needs to definitely emphasize the post to Marb and the other PG from this point on, and carry it throughout next season.
