btw, sweets gotta chill with the fouls - he's like kurt in his early days. we needed him out there, especially the way he was playing.

Good point.

Anybody notice marbury's NEGATIVE facial expression on the side line when Lenny was trying to talk to him?

I just don't like his tude, kid needs to grow up.

Well when Lenny is probably asking him "What do you think we should do now?" I can't blame him

He had just made a bad play and, as the announcers pointed out, had hurt his finger. I hardly think that was bad "tude" toward Lenny. I think he was probably upset with himself and in pain.

We play good defense for three quarters, then they score 30.....WTF?
Ariza played well but he should not have been the one taking shots in the last few seconds. An attempted 3 pointer (the shot before Ariza's) by Marbury wasn't a good idea either.....anything inside at that point of the game would have at least gotten more foul shots......sheeeeeesh!!!

This team is a joke.

Marbury once again chokes. What else is new.

Man I miss the Layden days, at least then did not even claim to be any good. And we had some hope for the future, now all we have is a bunch of loosers headed by Marbury with long term deals.

And we are gonna get some more soon. I hate this team.
A glimmer of hope maybe?!?

Whitney got too many minutes in the 4th and that's how we blew the lead. Marbury needs more help than he getting from Moochie who stands still a lot. They need Crawford back...

a game blew in the final seconds

Well, we had the lead entering the fourth quarter and allowed them to score 30 points in the final quarter so they blew it the whole last 12 minutes. They were bad and deserved to lose.

Bad finish, bad results for what's now a stumbling team. Strange: I don't feel bad.

I don't feel as badly as earlier losses this year either. Reasons:

1. I've adjusted my expectations for this year. I've accepted we're a .500 team for this year.

2. This game showcased our future in Ariza and Sweetney and I loved the way both of them looked.

3. I'm optimistic about the future. Craw, Marbs, Reezy, Sweets. A #1 this year. Potential trades during the off-season of Penny and TT for their ending contracts. Nazr and KT good potential trading assets as well. Longer, younger, more athletic. Go Knicks.

you know what

i'm not mad cause we lost cause we are always losing it seems but i would have felt a little better about the lost if STEPHON Marbury

the kid from coney island

would have taken the last shot or even allan houston for that matter instead of nazr. nothing against nazr cause he is a role player but how in the world can any knick fan accept when your "leaders"

your "all-stars" do not take the final shots like leaders and all stars do. i happen to think marbury was the best player on the court so do your thang player

i love the knicks but at what point do the knicks start acting like they got a clue

on another note:
kirk hinrich is plays the point guard position to a T

I can't believe you think marbury has changed his attitude towards lenny and his coaching staff. THE BOY IS A BIGTIME LOSER! that shot he took was bad selection.

A posta noted before, the only person Marbury listens to is ISAIAH, so the only hope we have is zeke coming back to the bench for this knicks roster.

I wouldn't say the Knicks blew the game even if they had the lead. Houston is just not ready but with Crawford out he has no choice. So when Houston was struggling Norris-Marbury was best backup lineup but Bulls can use zone on that backcourt, which they did. So if we go with Marbury-Houston Hinrich or Gordan would expliot Houston. If we go with Norris-Marbury they go into a zone. So though Knicks were fighting hard Bulls just kept exploiting our weaknesses. Bottom line can't wait for Crawford to come back.

A lineup they could have used at the end of the game could have been Marbury-Ariza-JYD-KT-Muhammad. Though the bulls would have went zone on us we could have put clamps down on Gordan & Hinrich. And maybe pushed the ball for transition baskets to keep up with the offensive flow. I would say all in all it was a hard fought game throughout and Bulls deserve a lot of credit for making big shots and plays down the stretch.

I knew this game was lost the moment Sweetney fouled out.
Lot of favorable calls for the Bulls tonight.

Allan Houston should not be out there, even as a decoy.
Allan should have gotten surgery a long time ago, or continued to rest, this is at least the 2nd game he has caused us to lose by playing hurt.

He has lost all lift and or confidence from his jumper.

Crawford come back soon.
lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.

Which shot was that the wide open 3??? I know you don't blame the loss on Marbury even though he scored most of his pts in the 2nd half to help bring us back and keep us in the game.

As the leader and pg, Marbury should have driven to the basket to draw a foul at least. The guy was tired so you know the jumper can be suspect especially a 3.

Yes Newyorknewyork, I don't blame Marbury for the loss, I just think it was not a good shot/option. I agree with Playa2 that it should have gone inside. Yes, they were playing zone but the zone can be broken, I see it all the time, you just have to attack and at the very least you might get a foul call and definitely a closer shot.

U can't blame him for taking a wide open 3. Especially when he was hitting his jumper. How does his leadership get questioned in that aspect??? What if he made the 3 is it no longer a bad shot?? Actually an open 3 is never a bad shot.
