SAS, OKC, Minnesota, Philly, Miami, Cleveland all have potential but even with LeBron, I'm not sure any of them would have an easier path to the Finals then NY without him. Also, if the Knicks don't win, it's unlikely LeBron gets any smoke. LeBron to NY, bet.
I'd give it at best a 15-20% chance and it reunites Lebron with Leon? He get on ok with Mike Brown?

Lebron reportedly said to Oak back some 12 years ago he'd not play for knicks given that Dolan has beefs with players. Ne never said publicy he'd not play for knicks (another PHilC make believe thing).
Think about it, this was also when Phil Jax in charge and also dissed Lebron and his "Posse" when they wanted some high end treatment for an event. Phil is gone, and Dolan seems to have mended his ways with a lot of ex players other than Oak. 12 years is a long time. Lebron went back to Cleveland after owner Gilbert was pretty nasty after he left for Miami. If Lebron wants to play in NY, I'd assume he and Leon can figure things out based on their previous relationship. If anyone is still upset it would be Leon but i'd think being a successful agents have thick skin and can move past things to accomplish something. Grudges are not productive.
As for roster fit and minutes? I'd think one of Josh or Bridges would have to be traded and we'd need another center to really make the case on paper at some point in the season.
Most media has him to either Clev or Warriors, then Miami. MInny and Philly are also mentioned. Recall he and Riley ended on bad terms with Riley publicy frustrated by Lebrons departure. Riles did not like bending over backwards to get Lebron and when He did a reverse to go back to Clev he felt betrayed. Riley was out of line in my opinion.
Lebron is keeping this all close to the vest and kind of private as not to create a media circus that will occur anyway. He was playing golf in Cleveland and Bronny needed to borrow a 3 wood. Rumors started over that. Now he is coming to NY for perhaps things already on his calander for months and media will speculate. Its how things work. I would not read into it much.
If money is not the issue here and he wants to play close to home why could he not play for the Lakers again? Make nice with new owenship again and perhaps get to buy in as a minority owner of Lakers when retired if the Vegas thing does not happen for him? Im just guessing. Im not reading much about Lebron. When it happens, it happens.
