I'll go a step further. I wonder if Atlanta is regretting the Trae deal. I get that Jake is emerging, but he might be as difficult to build around as Trae. A primary ballhandler with no J is easy to gameplan for in the post season. I don't see as more than a secondary or tertiary initiator on a serious team until he can be at least respectable from the perimeter.

He doesn't deserve for you to get his name right, lol.

I think Jalen Johnson is a decent complimentary player but will never be core to anything of consequence. He'd be perfect with a high usage guard like Tyrese Maxey
