Plays the 4 for OG and if Josh goes out Precious plays 4 and OG/Mikal or others push down to the 3/2. And no reason Thibs couldn't be using Sims some at the 5. You could play Sims/Precious together at 5/4 if you kept 3 shooters around them say Jalen/Shamet/Mikal. I mean we were perfectly fine using Sims at the 5 earlier in season but now ZERO minutes. Just that extra defensive body could suppress some of the 2/3/4 minutes. |

Mikal and OG have been 35/36mpg their whole career since they became GOOD. No team would only play Mikal and OG 33/29mpg. And Hart has reached another level where he should be playing 36mpg. we also play a very slow methodical pace, I'd wager Mikal playing 39mpg this year has been less stressful than playing 35mpg as a #1 on the nets. or 36mpg on those super fast Suns teams. |

Fact is they are all clearly gassed in the 2nd half of games now. There is a reason for it. We was the worst team in the 4th quarter earlier in the season and these last 2 games did not help our case. We have 4 players in the top 7 minutes played this season. KAT would be there if he could stop fouling so much. We are not even half way through the season. We should not be having fatigue problems. This is the Randle situation all over again. People scared to criticize him until he is off the team. Thibs is not going to get fired. Its OK to criticize him. If he changes what he's bad at it will only make him a better coach. Even if we lose a few games while building the benches confidence it does not matter. We are losing the games now anyway due to the starters being tired. Sometimes you need to invest in future sucess instead of just trying your best to win todays game no matter what. |

Fact is Knicks are one of the top teams in the league at protecting leads and in the 2nd half, so the stats simply don't back up what you're saying. There's no excuses to make, we've been one of the best teams in the NBA and one of the healthiest if not the healthiest. |

You are misunderstanding the stats you are pointing to. Being the team that protects leads does not mean you are good in the 4th quarters. It can also mean your lead was so big that your terrible 4th quarters did not matter. Lets see where the Knicks rank in Point differential in the 4th quarter. Surely teams that are good in the 4th would be near the top. Since you think the Knicks are good in the 4th we should be up there. The Knicks are 25th in the league with a rock solid -48. Meaning we are terrible in the 4th. Remember this is after we just had a month vs mid and injured teams. So after going against good teams with tired players it will get even worse. You need to click the pictures to see the Knicks because twitter likes to zoom them for some reason. Tweet was deleted or there was problem with the URL: |

More is better and twice as much is good too. Not enough is bad, and too much is never enough except when it's just about right.

I suppose that doesn't bode well then for the rest of the season in your eyes if we're already out of gas. |
