Those are not just all kick-outs either. There are some real great passes in there. Quarterback passes.

Still impressive for a 7fter to drive and kick out for the 3. Many would go barreling into their defender.

You mean like Randle?

So much more that we could do with Kat passing.

I think Kat is so talented he gets bored/sloppy sometimes and leaves points on the board with some casual decisions.

So talented, unselfish and a quick decision maker ---- didn't realize he was this good.

His time with the Knicks is blur. I remember he had a hot wife and he turned Lance Thomas into our Draymond Green. The rest is real fuzzy. Oh, Alonso Trier dunked so hard in SL that he caused an earthquake. Oh, and wasn't Kevin Knox supposed to be out Garnet or Durant or whoever?

Always... always remember: Less is less. More is more. More is better and twice as much is good too. Not enough is bad, and too much is never enough except when it's just about right. - The Tick

If there is a negative from last night is the coach sticking to his 8 man rotation when he was up 25-30 points for 3 quarters. That was the game for Kolek and co to get significant minutes and for all starters to play less. Instead we had starters playing 35 and 37 minutes. Even when Achiuwa comes back, we will miss other players during the season. No team goes an entire season without injuries. Plus we know we have players that in previous years miss a lot of regular season games. So are we planning to keep all rookies on the bench and play the whole season with 8 players until we burn them out? Some say that Matt Ryan will eventually come in and get minutes but i seriously doubt it. If Payne gets 10 minutes and Kolek 0, then how Ryan, who is no better than them, get any minutes?

On the flip side it was a good opportunity to get the rotation who will be playing every night into a great rhythm and not disrupt it with weird subs that will never occur in big games.

I agree. Thibs is preparing his guys for battle. Detroit was road kill but the strategy and preparation remains the same. Sometime these guys will have to play those mins against good teams. I do believe Thibs needs to make sure we are healthy for the playoff run. But that’s also up for debate. It’s a balancing act coaches have to do and why they get paid the big bucks.

Good to see Brunson snap out of his shooting streak. He was hitting nothing but net on those 3s and hit his first five I think! Loved that over the shoulder behind the back pass from KAT to Brunson for the layup too! KAT had 7 assists which is great.

Kudos to Thibs for getting the team focused right off the gate. Teams tend to sleep walk against these bad teams as we know burt we took it to them early and game was over after the first quarter when we went up 39-13.

KAT is really good and pretty unstoppable when he takes it to the rim. Stewart was like a leaf trying to guard him. I love how Bridges talks **** to opposing benches after a 3! We need a guy like that. He's shooting the ball really well too. OG with 21. Deuce with another game with double digits off the bench. And Hart with your typical all around game. Sims did some nice things too. Great and relaxing game to watch on a Friday night!

The best part of this game was seeing our Knicks having fun. They’ve been deadly serious to start this season, especially Brunson. This team really needed a road trip to bond without life distractions. Things are looking up. Chemistry is looking good

Yeah - I mean I think we all question Thibs sometimes on going a bit too long with minutes for certain players (ex. Kat coming back up 30).

That said - it's also difficult for ANY fan to question Thibs because he's going to do what he believes in and in that regard his players ALL seem to LOVE HIM.

I think minute distribution in the NBA is an art form - by this I mean - it's not just about work-load but guys get paid on production and some on making all-star teams or all nba. Sometimes I think Thibs is giving guys minutes to build cohesion amongst the group, sometimes just to keep guys with their consistent minutes they are used to and sometimes he's giving them an extra 5 minutes to let them get some stats. By this I mean he's keeping his main guys HAPPY - he's rewarding them for their hard work by giving them minutes.

All NBA players (with a heart) want MORE MINUTES. You rarely if ever see a guy stamping their feet or making a big deal when the coach leaves them on the court.

For those that think Thibs is jeopardizing the players --- I have to think that Thibs and his players are all 100% on board with how he is treating them. Again - I go back to how hard players play for him and how much our guys LOVE playing FOR HIM.

Like Kats 44 - last nights Brunson's 36 was the easiest 36 he's ever put up.

He's plus 50% from 3 - last night he got some completely wide open layups where he must have been thinking where is the D.

These guys are just starting to figure it out - add back Precious (energy/rebounding/D) along with deep shooting & movement with Ryan/Shamet and we can ratchet this offense up another few notches with Mitch (or a trade) waiting in the wings come Jan/Feb.

Randle and Brunson have been injured in garbage time, so there is a cost to keeping starters on the court in a blowout. The good news is that Thibs has pulled JB and KAT with 5 minutes left in the game which is actually an improvement from past seasons. He's kept his stars in the game down to the last minute in blowouts.

Was good to see Kolek get some burn. Needs time to handle NBA pressure defense.

this is what drove me nuts about this narrative...

~NBA trolls
"I will do anything for that man"
~all his players
