2 reasons, Hartenstein became a dad in the past weeks/months i He decides against playing If asked which He also stated publicly and also the Coach 2-3 yrs ago asked for a certain Commitment from them Players for all the upcoming events and and is staying with this group mostly.

Other than 2 players its exactly the Same roster that won the WC.

Little fun fact... There we're discussions before the WCs lat year If Austin Reeves wants to Join since he hast German grandparents or so. That would have been fun!!!

Is it the thongs? I'm guessing it's the thongs.

I was in Toronto just shortly after 2 Olympics ago where she was playing in a tourney. Beach volleyball is so niche the athletes are just walking around and intermingling with fans and stalkers alike in between matches during the day. I think the same still happens today.

It was awesome and she is the same in person. Gorgeous.

It’s great there’s a place stalkers can openly mingle.

Good enough to perhaps make the Gleague team or end of bench?

Think he probably makes too much money overseas to be a GLeaguer and is too old to be an end of bench guy here - especially given we have a couple of younger prospects. France is playing Lessort over Gobert and he's muscling Canada

Ive seen quite a bit of Lessort over the past 3 yrs when he played at my club here in Germany - Bayern Munich.
He has since developed into a top level Big on Euroleague level but I really do not think he would have the same impact in the NBA since his lack of size and missing Jumper would be impacted a lot by the size difference of the leagues! He would struggle a lot more than Precious vs guys like Giannis, Jokic etc.
So honestly... Id rather have Theis, who again shows that he has good defensive abilities as well as a nice feel for the game during these Olympics. He is not as capable a playmaking big as iHart but way better in that aspect than Mitch Robinson... I think hed fit in really nicely!

Such a great match. I used to watch Matt Anderson when he was in hs and college and locally. He turned back the clock and fell thisshort

So good though. Gonna miss him on the national team.

Leon is one of THE best all time though

Agreed re Leon. He consistently hits ball at like 12'. Darlan is another beast (Brazil) but wildly inconsistent

Kind of frustrated with coach taking Defalco out. He needed to come out to reboot but they needed his firepower and killer instinct in the 4th
