Low cost high upside potential.
Under Thibs Howard would have a specific role he could excel at.
If he is in shape and buys into the culture I think this would work.
Precious was fantastic when he was forced into a starting role last season.
I can't understand why he is still available.
Dwight Howard is a not good locker room guy. Most teams are staying away because of it
Plus he is old. We needs long term solutions.
Always preferred long term, but year to year short term solutions are necessary when your trying to manage a cap.
Players do change as their status changes. Is Dwight the same ass hole was was in his early 20's?
Maybe he a worse ******* now? Or perhaps if given a chance to roster would be a different guy?
If on a short term deal, he opens a mouth, he gone. His status is gone.
Dwight was a hell of a player in prime and healthy.
Dwight has made some lifestyle choices that may not make him the most welcome or comfortable person in a locker room. The rest is up to you and Google.
I mean, his lifestyle choices are his lifestyle choices. But I haven't heard anything about the SA lawsuit. That would be too much of a distraction from a backup center.
What I read about Howard was that he would sometimes clown around after tough losses, and his teammates didnt appreciate that. Wasnt like the traditional locker room disruptor.
Didnt hear of any complaints with the Lakers when they won it all. Played well in a reserve role, but that was a few years ago. I'd prefer to see Precious signed. Wouldnt be a learning curve.
