What I'm looking for...

Does Kolek play like someone who can become a backup PG? How does he run the offense, and does he look like a heady defensive player, despite average athleticism? He and Dadiet are the two I'll be looking at closely.

Rokas...The guy has to show us he belongs in the NBA, either as a Knick, or someone another team might make a trade for. Seems like he's competing against Kolek in the SL...NO? I like what I saw from him that first year...He should stand out, given his professional experience...Will he?

Hukporti- Who knows what this guy will show us? Can he set good picks/screens? Does he have any kind of offensive game in the post? Does he move well on defense? Can he rebound in traffic and box out?
He turned 22 a few months ago, and looks like he has an NBA body.

Dadiet- I think he can be a stud on offense, but how unselfish can he be, and will he be patient in his offensive approach? He moves well without the ball, and I'd like to see him get rewarded by passes from his teammates when he cuts to the basket. The most important thing for me is whether he looks like he has a clue on defense.

Wish McCullar was playing, but he needs to recover. So it goes.

My dark horse SL invitee...Amari Kelly. He's older, but seems to have some ability. Probably a candidate for Westchester, if he sticks. He seems to be competing with a guy like Toppin for a seat at the end of the bench. His 3pt shooting and FT % improved in his final season. He will never be an NBA starter, IMO, but he might find a spot on a roster at some point. Says that he is 6'9", but he looks smaller, IMO.

This was a scouting report from when he played against DaRon Holmes, the kid Denver took at 22.

One of the things I’ve enjoyed about watching Kelly this season is his competitive nature and it was on display early. Went right after Holmes II in the post for positive results. Jump hook, drop step, quick face-up rip through attack that drew the foul and a running sweeping hook finish.
Battled Holmes II defensively for post position throughout, but was limited to 22 minutes due to foul trouble and eventually fouled out.
A little more skilled than what he’s given credit for. Pivot, fadeaway jumper in lane.
12 points, 5 rebounds and 2 blocks in what could have easily been a high teens double-double effort without foul trouble.

I believe they did. Turned on the game late with like 6 min in the 1st. Saw one nice assist. Subbed out shortly after.
