However if McBride emerges and Grimes levels up you have Brunson/IQ/McBride/Grimes and Hart/RJ only playing SF because someone has to. That's a glut.fishmike wrote:martin wrote:thinking of Haliburton I am thinking more and more we cant avoid a Sac situation where the simple truth is IQ/Brunson play the same position and it makes more sense to move one than play them both.Tweet was deleted or there was problem with the URL: Fish, you really should be banned for suggesting we trade IQ! I don't see a problem with having them together - there are enough minutes for them to get between PG and SG. Being undersized doesn't seem to be an issue for IQ as far as guarding players - at least I haven't seen it. I think you will agree that if anyone should be on the outside looking in as far as this teams future, it's mr. 30% on efg Mr. Canada, RJ Barrett. When we get to the play offs, I thinking having two lethal attacking players like IQ & JB can be a difference maker as defenses tighten and points become harder to find. |

![]() Don't blame Quick for having that type of ambition...There are a handful of teams that he can start for righ now. Knicks will have a decision to make, soon....

I think this kid has a bright future as an NBA starting PG. Born in Brooklyn, Raised in Queens, Lives in Maryland.
The future is bright, I'm a Knicks fan for life!

He's under rookie contract for next year. He'd have to take the one year QO the 2024-2025 season (and play for the Knicks) over the security of a 10 figure contract to become a UFA and sign with someone else in 2025-2026. At which time Brunson might only be signed for that season anyway (we'll see). The runway could be cleared if not only a starting role but the knicks starting PG role is what he wants. And no reason he can't start anytime starting next year if he earns it. |

Still would do it though. |
