Long wingspan and quickness should give him upside defensively with thibs. This isn’t a Jordan clarkson player, although that could be a reasonable floor. But his ceiling is an elite scorer in the league.

If I was golden state I’d take him here. He was hurt most of those season. He’s a possible super star and at a minimum will be a force off the bench. I’d take giddet at 14 if avail. They can use giddey wiseman and Bouknight as role players and in two years they become a force as young starters

How come there are no written reports on the knicks interest on Josh Giddey?

Bouknight is going to be very good. I agree his range is bench scorer/6th man to superstar scorer. He would be a nice 3rd guard behind Steph and Klay. I would do everything to trade up for Bouknight. If not i'll consider trading up a little to grab Kispert. He's a safe elite shooter that can plug in around stars if we can find a way to grab one.

I'm not sure he's done any workouts. I know he skipped the combine because he's with the Australian nation team.

Yeah he's about to play a number of important games for his side, all of which will be heavily scrutinized.

Josh Primo apparently impressed at the combine. Not a killer athlete, but shows chops on the defensive end and his shot looks pure. Shot 38% from three. Plus, he's Canadian and would give a RJ another buddy since Frank isn't returning Someone to consider at #32.

Yeah, a lot of mocks even have over Sims. Don't see Mann as PG tho. At least not yet. I might take a swing at Cooper if he's available. I'm also warming up to the idea of Jason Preston if they somehow get another second rounder.

Yeah, he's outside of our range. A bad performance in the Olympics could be enough to make him fall to us tho

btw, imo it's better to keep all picks, it's a deep draft. From 12-23 alot of these players are at the same Tier, we are losing alot of FA's and need to create young, cheap base of players coachable that will grow with out current base. Look at teams left in NBA playoffs have done, build by draft with lots of picks.

I'd be cool with this. The problem is, you can't have high expectations to compete if you do this. Knox, Randle, IQ, Mitch, Obi and RJ are guaranteed to come back, barring a trade. I'll throw Theo Pinson in there as well . That's 6-7 roster spots right there. That's almost half the teams active roster spots. I'm assuming the last second-round pick will be traded, sold, used on a draft and stash, or won't make the team. That leaves the three first-rounders (I think of the 32nd pick as a late-first rounder). The roster is up to 9-10 roster spots, leaving three active spots. Assuming Luca makes the team, that's 10-11. Let's say they bring back Taj on a cheap deal so there's a vet big man. 11-12 spots, which leaves one to two active roster spots. The team probably still need a starting PG and Vet wing. In a perfect world, all three rookies exceed excpections. Realistically, they all struggle learning the league to some extent. If you keep all picks, then you're conceding that next season is kind of interstitial. Do you have the patience? I'm cool punting on free agency this year, but I wonder about the rest of the fan base.

You are right. Rose too.

I am hopeful that Knox is traded.

Interstitial. I like that
