![]() RJ is a no frills player. Not a lot of fancy moves, just gets the job done. All that matters.

But if and when our starting backcourt becomes Quickley and Burks I think he takes off. It may not be this year even , but it should happen eventually even if we have to wait until next year. |

Agree that lineup and personnel dictate roles for each player. However, to the previous posts point, RJ seems more aggressive down the stretch when either we need a basket or when we are down big and he seems to be just padding stats. He seems to fall in love with the three at times. Think when it's not falling, he needs to attack more and try to set up others who have it going. Have rarely seen him drive and kick it out to Burke, Rivers, Knox or Quicks. Still a big fan though. Especially when he takes it strong to the basket. As for the starting lineup's shooting, I agree that we need a knock down shooter in the starting lineup. Although Bullock was supposed to have been that for us and think he still can be. Especially because he can also provide defense to help Randle. 'Knicks focus should be on players that have grown up playing soccer or cricket' - Triplethreat 8/28/2020

![]() RJ will be fine - he deserves at least the same leash that many have offered to Knox, Frank and others that need time to develop. Last season it was rated that he played with the worst spacing in the league. While he needs to improve his erratic shooting - it seems likely he would be more effective as our spacing/shooting improves. Randle and RJ are a bad mix unless they are both surrounded by 2 JJ Redicks, 2 Steve Novaks and 1 Dan Issel at all times... so impossible!

![]() Barrett is a huge part of the future here and is a great prospect guys he’s only 20 younger then both our rookies he seems to have recently worked on the corner 3 if he can make that corner 3 36% or higher and keep up the bully ball. He’s already a stud finisher, very good defensively, excellent rebounder and very good court vision. Kids ceiling is sky high.
I don’t think we drafted him thinking he had the talent to be the #1 option. But he will be a great third option on a contender hopefully that’s the Knicks soon. If the knicks make the playoffs, the league will take notice and players will want to play at the greatest arena on earth for the home team. |

If Kevin Knox could be anywhere near as effective as Mikal Bridges is for the Suns it would be a huge lift It’d be great if Knox continued to develop and be more than a corner 3pt shooter - he has the size and athleticism to contribute in bigger ways. But in the nearer term, I get the feeling that Burka when he returns will give us Bridge’s production and more - and ultimately help give the Knicks the playmaking and 3pt shotmaking boost RJ and the Knicks need to stay more consistently around the 500+ mark. “That was two, two from the heart.” - John Starks
