We're spoiled with Breen and Clyde, who I think are the best play-by-play team in the league. So we have that going for us. Which is nice.
With league pass, heard plenty of homer crews, mostly small market. These guys were just plain nasty. The tone of their voice when talking about the Knicks, the condescension. One of them said the Knicks were last in the league in a category, then said "last" again with emphasis.
Their summation of Mitch's game was that he was good in the paint. Thats it. Nothing about being one of the best shotblockers in the league, one of the most efficient. Whenever Mitch had a block they would call it a variation of the Lakers losing the ball.
When you are a storied franchise, and have 2 of the 5 best players in the league, you.can afford some "Noblesse Oblige" They were pathetic. First time in my life I wanted to reach through the screen and slap the hell out of a crew. Believe the Lakers had their sights on Mitch as well.
