Everyone can reply how they want to. I enjoy dropping a good natured sarcastic reply. I get the impression Fish does too. If you or Solace don't, no one's forcing you to reply to him.

Bad natured insult, you mean? Yeah, that's real mature. Also, why do you keep including Fish in your opinion? I'm not so sure what Fish feels, but regardless, let him tell you how he feels. I think that's what he just tried to tell you four or five posts ago and you still completely ignored.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

that's just it Bonn...i DON'T choose to go there anymore because i've come to realize that it only ends up ruining threads for everyone else...you choose to engage him in these arguments & then you complain about him degrading threads...no one's forcing you to reply to him either...

i seem to remember fish & some others on MSG criticizing me & Isles for ruining threads due to our pointless back & forths, at which point i decided to take a different approach...now you guys are getting caught up in the same trap that i was criticized for back then yourselves.

at some point, someone has to be the bigger person & let the other guy get in the last word, dig or whatever else you want to call it...otherwise, it's a never ending cycle.
After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.

This is a *message board* Solace, not a court of law. No one's "guilty" or "innocent." You're entitled to your opinions, but that strikes me as excessive.

Well you're saying you had to stop and change the way you posted because of Isles. You're saying the same about fish who's complaining about Isles degrading threads. You're saying the same about me too. In short, you're basically saying several people have to change the way they post because of one person. Rather than that one person adjusting the way he posts. That's like getting one player on a team with a bad attitude who skips practice and it having a negative effect on the entire team. Two solutions are to get that one bad apple to change/leave or to keep the bad apple and tell everyone else they just need to adjust to his way of life. The more sensible solution is always that the bad applie (Raul Mondesi, Ron Mercer, Eddie Griffin, and many ohters) is encouraged to change and if he can't, he's forced to leave. You seem to be focusing on the wrong group of people by asking everyone else to change.

I'm sure Isles loves all this attention by the way.

this is getting tiresome...i specifically said that i was just relaying how I PERSONALLY have chosen to deal w/Isles...i never TOLD you or fish or anyone else that you HAVE to change the way you react to him...i could care less since this isn't my site...just don't complain about Isles degrading threads when you're playing your fair part in doing the same...that's my point...i'm done w/this conversation...call Isles as many names as you like if it makes you feel better.

I agree. I never said it was my call. Funny how you keep saying other people are doing their share in making threads degrade when no one else (well maybe Solace) is pointing the blame at people other than Isles and there were no problems about threads always degrading before ISLES came here. Maybe it's all just a coincidence.

I've continued the discussion only because Solace and TMS perceive there to be an important problem worth discussing (even though no one else seems to care) and I don't want to just ignore their concerns.

I agree, and I think he will really help this team. We have alot of guys in the frontcourt that can do some different things, but there are so many minutes to go around. I'm looking for these guys to elevate their play to get in on this minutes crunch.

In the past I dont think Spoon, Harrington or Travis Knight were really challenging each other enough.

Wow, I missed all the fun. I hardly every post because my thoughts are usually expressed by someone anyway. I like this site because it's the closest thing I have to being home (New York). I think we should be able to argue and knock someones' opinion. Opinions are for bashing and praising. I'm not soft and I don't get butt hurt over a good argument. As long as name calling and foul language are left out then things are good. I'm from New York and I enjoyed the team of 94-99. They were tough. This site sometimes remind me of how tough New Yorkers are (whether they are from New York or not). We as fans are harder than the media so why must we get butt hurt over things here. Now if the owners of the site don't want things to be this way thenm it is their call.
