The sad thing is - the Knicks aren't trying to lose this game in any way - Rose and Melo trying hard down the stretch, all the vets are playing. They're just this bad. Nets have a 16-game home losing streak on the line.

I can't wait till Rose and Melo shut it down for the year. This isolation and take it Inside by yourself games sucks.... it's like we're watching a pick up game with players that don't know each other

We are that bad with those 2, we get shown up by the Nyets. Glad we lost, and glad they played to their usual roles. One of them is focused on getting a contract the other has only ever cared about getting his. Match made in heaven.

I was out and didn't see the game but it looks like it was a great Tank game! I really can't believe how the Knicks have fallen off. I thought they'd win more of these games down the stretch and mess up their Lottery position but this is some Major League Losing they're doing.

Just hold on till the end of the season, they are finally earning their keep by trying hard to win, we all know how THAT goes! They may yet take us to ping-pong ball nirvana. Anytime our bench threatens to win something throw Melo and Rose at them. It works like magic.

Agreed. I only look forward to see Willy KP Randle and Baker at this point

KP and Lance led the team in assists tonight. Love that Triangle minimizing pesky PG play.

Though it is nice to see KP passing more and better. I think 4 assists ties a career high for him and he has 4 assists in each of the last two games.

He looks healthier now too. Had abad turnover at the end but overall his game has looked good despite the losing. I think he will be even better when he is finally given the reigns next year hopefully

He's rarely in position to facilitate. He's usually getting the ball when he's open to shoot. Tat will come.

Defense not the Tri is the problem.

Defense not the Tri is the problem.

One of the supposed benefits of the Triangle is the floor balance it creates for getting back on D.

Also, early in the season CLee noted that when they only practice against the Triangle, they're only playing D against the Triangle... so they are unprepared for what other teams run.

The Triangle has made KP get better looks and more chances to pass
He's in the post more where he belongs more often
His post game is weak but at least he is finally getting to the paint

I don't love the offense nor hate it. I think it's good for KP and Willy. Lee, Thomas, Randle, Baker fit in well. At this point who cares about Rose and Melo let's just rebuild.

Defensively I just don't think we have enough lineups that are good defensively
KP needs to be a 5, Melo a 4, Lance our 3, Baker and Lee in the backcourt. That's the type of lineup that could perhaps defend and run the offense well.

We never have given KP/Melo as a 5/4 with some defensive guards a chance. I think that was our best bet to play defense. We've given too many minutes to players incapable to keep up with their man or on switches.

What it makes us is the Lottery team we need to be this summer. I say take our lumps and the embarrassment and bury it deep down inside. Then think about how happy you'll be if the Knicks add another STUD in the Draft!!! Who cares about what other people think?
