Courtney Lee came because he was pals with Noah and wanted to play for a contender, he was been quoted as saying the team "is beyond pep talks now" and he just takes it one day at a time. Rumors were Phil tried to trade him to the Clippers before the trade deadline. Noah has removed all Knicks imagery from his social media accounts, like Jennings did, so I imagine they've told him they're shutting him down for the year and trying to trade him or buy him out or something.

We'll see this summer, but it's one reason I advocated for a Rubio trade. I don't think any decent agent will send their guy here. Almost every team in the league has cap space, many have more than us... players who come here do not improve their value and they get moved within a year of signing. We won't see guys come here this summer.

Dude if you are more concerned with what an agent will tell his players, then you are not a Knicks fan. Who cares about agents? We're not that team anymore. If you want to see a team spend money and wheel and deal you should follow the Lakers. Magic is about to go full Isiah on the league. The Knicks are not that team.... we're in a full rebuild right now. If you can't deal with that then save yourself. No Shade fam. DJSUNYC did it years ago. Derrick Williams was headed to China. Noah just got his nest egg contract to be a guidance counselor for our youth movement. Jennings got an opportunity to play for his favorite team and now has an opportunity to go to the playoffs. Lee got paid and a starting spot.

I don't understand the sarcasm. We haven't made a free agent splash because nobody wants to be here. That was before Phil. Phil realized that the first year when he had to make up signings like Derrick Williams and Affalo. We're never going to make a splash unless we start winning. We need to build with youth. All signs point to that. We just signed Randle back. There is a new commitment to youth.

Anyway, there won't be a grand free agent haul. We only have 25 mill to spend. All the top free agents will get 30 million per. Nobody out there is with that aside from Gordon Hayward... I bet we sit on that money and use it on undrafted rookies or more under 25 players

He'd install a winning and productive atmosphere and be able to convince guys to play in the Triangle and compete. He's been a massive failure at free agency. Through sheer force of will? Some Knicks fans have a real sense of entitlement and can't understand why players choose not to come here. Star free agency is essentially dead, and it has been since the last CBA was set up to hinder it. One or two star players might move teams once in a while, but its the exception rather than the norm

The Knicks finally have a chance to GROW THEIR OWN STARS!!! We have our picks going forward and that hasn't happened in a long time. We're off to a good start in the rebuild with KP and Willy. Now hopefully we can eventually become a Free Agent destination again down the line when this team's core is built thru the draft.

Every single Knicks fan understands how bad this team is and how much worse the Phil/Rosen/Melo thing and the Oakley fiasco has made this organization so i promise you you're not the only one who understands this.

What I'm saying is that the way Phil has handled the free agents he has signed is not good. The guys who come here don't develop roles and don't really improve their value. Rolo did improve... but he came here to be near his brother - traded less than a year after he signed. Courtney Lee has been solid here, but he's already been on the trading block and he is miserable.

Players in the league talk. It's not a good move for a player's career to come to the NYK at this point. Won't even get into the Triangle being a difficult system to learn and the way players around the league feel about the Oakley incident. Seriously, this is a mess.

Yep. But your trying to convert those who don't share your view. Some of us just see it as taking longer. There are some legit reasons for it doing so. Some on phil, some not.

Courtney Lee came because he was pals with Noah and wanted to play for a contender, he was been quoted as saying the team "is beyond pep talks now" and he just takes it one day at a time. Rumors were Phil tried to trade him to the Clippers before the trade deadline. Noah has removed all Knicks imagery from his social media accounts, like Jennings did, so I imagine they've told him they're shutting him down for the year and trying to trade him or buy him out or something.

We'll see this summer, but it's one reason I advocated for a Rubio trade. I don't think any decent agent will send their guy here. Almost every team in the league has cap space, many have more than us... players who come here do not improve their value and they get moved within a year of signing. We won't see guys come here this summer.

Every single Knicks fan understands how bad this team is and how much worse the Phil/Rosen/Melo thing and the Oakley fiasco has made this organization so i promise you you're not the only one who understands this.

Yeah i'll give you that one cause i does seem like certain posters just don't get it but i'm pretty sure the majority of us understand just how much trouble this team is in and how much worse the Rosen?phil/Melo and Oakley fiasco's have made it even worse.
