With the 26th pick in the NBA draft the San Antonio Spurs select Kevon Looney.
Disappointed that Harrell didn't fall to me and I nearly selected one of several international prospects but I think at least one of them could still be available when I pick again in the 2nd. I don't think Looney's strong enough yet to be playing major minutes at the 4 but he's only 19 and still has plenty of room for growth. I'm hoping that with an NBA trainer he'll put on something like 10 pounds of muscle as well as improving his speed a little. Good offensive rebounder, solid defensively with almost 1 block and over 1 steal per game in college, and can hit from 3 if he's wide open though most of his offense is probably going to be hustle plays near the basket. Good culture fit with the Spurs and if they sign LMA or Gasol this Summer he should fit well playing next to either one. Now the joy of my world is in Zion

With the 26th pick in the NBA draft the Los Angeles Lakers select Rashad Vaughn
Kobe (hopefully) retires soon and just leaves the team after next yr. The lakers will need perimeter shooting to surround Okafor and randle. i like this kid's upside Knicks should be improved: win about 40 games and maybe sneak into the playoffs. Melo, Rose and even Noah will have some nice moments however this team should be about PORZINGUS. the sooner they make him the primary player, the better
