Dude, if you are not going to compete for a playoff spot, you MUST compete for a top three lottery pick to better your roster; specifically, given the talent level we currently have. After the first 42 games, it was clear that we were terrible and Phil decided to use plan B;which was to tank for a top three pick. However, he failed to instruct his dumb coach of the blue print.

Although 1969 is in his usual emotional weenie mode, I have to say he has a point. We lose a couple more games and we are drafting Towns. How that wouldn't play into this I can't see. We should have had the worst record if at all possible. Winning a meaningless game against SA did nothing but ensure we miss on Towns.

Still, I think pick 4 will be very solid for us, whether we draft our PG or trade Melo to move up to #2.

Let's see how it goes. Fisher couldn't lose games by himself. He also needs to earn the respect of the D-leaguers who will stay. He did the best he could in the circumstances. No way in hell we should fire him, that's some stupid ish.
