You realize Towns isnt the best defender on his own team? Thats Stein, and Towns is allowed to freelance more. How's that translate in the NBA?

I did read somewhere that Towns isn't as good a defender as people think- something about his lateral speed being a step slow. I don't watch him enough to know whether this is true or not.

Completely off base. Maybe they were talking about OK4? Lateral quickness is certainly a question mark with OK4. Will be be able to keep NBA PF gazelles from getting to the rim?

Pretty much reaffirmed everything I've been saying about Towns.

He credited his team for being unselfish and checking their egos at the door and he put Karl Towns on the FT line in the clutch because he has upmost confidence in him. He expects his body at 26 to be a lot more developed than at 19. Even at 19 he pushes guys around and plays big

Not completely off base. He has slowish big heavy feet which he does make up for to some extent with his bball IQ.

I love the kid and hope we get him but he does seem to be dragging those big feet with him all the time.
