Just wondering why somebody would talk to SAS about Anthony to Chicago being a possibility shortly after the James to Cleveland scenario became more probable. Maybe Anthony thinks that if the Cavs get James Chicago has the best chance to get out of the East while Cleveland is still taking shape as a team.
Just trying to look at the sequence of the reports that have been coming out and what it means.
Until Chicago can offer Melo a max deal he isnt going anywhere. No way in hell Melo leaves 55 million on the table it goes against everything he has been his entire career
A max deal, or a sweet sign and trade deal for us. If Melo wants Chicago, I'm positive Phil would accommodate him for the right price.
Phil will not be accommodating Melo and the bulls, for what?
If we don't do a trade with the bulls, then he goes to the lakers, where there's no shot in hell that he wins a ring there before kobe retires. Taking a pay to play for the bulls who will have to rid themselves of all role players, a suspect rose, and a sometimish Gibson.. How can the bulls be the favorite with 3 stars and half ass role players
