Confused with the question. Did you mean if he signs with us does that put us in the playoffs or if we make the playoffs is he eligible?
just playoff eligible... as for getting us in, unless he shows up crapping golden eggs and borrows Phil Jackson's playbook Ill curb my enthusiam, but I do think he could be nice piece moving forward. Long term even.
Beggars can't be choosers.
He brings a rare commodity- the ability to nail open shots.
When Raymond is open, do you think opposing coaches worry, or do you think that is what they want to happen?
they dare him to shoot it. Please please please let Ray shoot 40 jumpers. Keep him out of the paint and Felton gives you nothing. Nada.Jimmer's shooting can change things. Spread the floor with him an THjr yes I know the defense will be a joke but damn you could get some points in a hurry.
Well, Jimmer can run the PnR pretty well and his shooting would be welcome especially since teams sag to guard Tyson on the lob. The ky would be is he quick enough off the screen to be the defender if he tries to go over the screen. Can he get into the lane and finish or pass the ball to the open man? I would like him running the stupid elevator screens that Felton runs. I only call them stupid because they are running them for a none shooter.
Jimmer has shot the ball well every year and improved his efficiency in the small amount of minutes that he plays so there is enough there that the Knicks would be smart to take a chance on Jimmer. Given the Knicks situation it would not be a risk at all it just depends if they like him and if they can get him.
I just have doubts the FO is smart enough to go after a player like Jimmer and who would they cut in time to sign him?
