All of that and he's got a great head on his shoulders. Such a joy not to have another JR air head on the team. It kind of reminds me of the youth movement we had before the Melo deal. Decent young men that you could form a team with for the future.

I hear you. I still have an irrational love for Ill Wil and his game.

Would you say THJ reminds you of Kenny Smith?

TKF go back under the bridge. Anything good about the Knicks you always try to knock down. THJ is better , faster, smarter than Novak right now. And his defense will come. The only thing shaky around here is you claiming to be a Knicks fan. Oh wait you are a fan of the NBA you just come on the Knicks thread to troll around.

I pretty much agree with your opinions on how poorly managed of a team we are.
But I disagree here, THJ is 21 years old and Novak is an experienced player with NO open court ability or inside game. The defense will come for Timmy Time as his frame fills out. He has the desire and skill but is just not there yet. His handle will come. I mean right now he is about 2 or 3 years ahead of schedule, or 10! with his shooting prowess, the rest will come. I'd like to build off of him.

Once his game opens up, we have a pretty deadly player in our laps. The question is can he develop quick enough to keep Melo happy? We need to do some GREAT signings to have a chance. He is a great asset, but when you have nothing, you don't trade a known for an unknown. I say trade Chandler for a PG or high pick (PG) and ride Tyler.

We rashly and quickly divested picks and players in order to clear space which allowed us to sign Amare. We signed a health risk Amare to a contract eating a third of our seasonal cap space all in order to try and lure Lebron. Both of those moves were fails......at least the other "starphuch" you are referring to has been on the court and productive....that makes the move much more than either the Amare or Lebron failed moves and attempts.

I'm pretty sure we had space for Amare. We sacrificed in order to clear more space for a second big FA.

Novak is a catch and shoot player who generally waits at an open spot above the arc or works to find an open spot. He is an expremely pure shooter when open, but against Miami 2 years ago he was exposed as a player who was not able to get open nor able to make an offensive impact with a player in his face. Since that time he has struggled to both see the floor consistenly and make a significant offensive impact. THJ does have the ability to handle and pull up for his own shot. He also shows an ability to get to the rim and shows promise with his poise IMO as a rookie. If you actually watched Knick games, you would know this instead of basing your analysis in an exhibition game where he is putting on a show vs Waiters.

Hard to take you seriously when you just seem to be trolling for reaction here.

It doesn't matter if Amare was a fail. MeloHate conquers all things.

Ooooh look, another patch on his warmup...

We're a .390 team and we're really discussing which move was the bigger failure?
