It seems you do as you took the time out to comment on my post.. notice i was responding to another poster.. you seem way too concerned with what I say about this dude? what? should I take what you say seriously considering that you are now playing carmelo police?

but I will be more than happy to criticize his basketball ability.. when I do so, people still seem to have a problem... but don't worry " I aint gonna talk about his comment no more"...

Can't build a contender with a 30 yr old+ eating most of the cap. Been through it before with Allan Houston and Amare...

you can if that 30 year old is lebron, or maybe durant...

you're so predictable, you should reaaly look into a job at Greenwich.

Except for the fact that you're so predictably wrong...

I agree amazing, sad and upsetting all rolled up in one stinky ball..

I'm not saying Melo is as good as Kobe Bryant but there are players worth the money that shoot below 50 percent

I hope the Knicks would offer Melo something like $110 mil over 5 and try to negotiate

To brign Kobe up again, the LAkers plan A is to pair Kobe with Melo. On Mike and Mike in the Morning, they say that Melo and LBJ would be arguably the greatest tandem the league has ever seen. Think about that for a second. Melo has to do more, but he also needs some of the right pieces. I know the trade set that process back a little, but all I know is the roster keeps (marginally) improving around him.

i THINK that is the most ridiculous comment I have ever heard. but the again, it's mike and mike.. so go figure..

considering Jordan and pippen, Magic and Kareem, and even Lebron and Wade, those comments are of the odd variety... a lot of sensationalism.....

but all I know is the roster keeps (marginally) improving around him.

marginal improvements does not win rings... not when you are not close to winning in the first place..

Greenberg is a big nba guy and knows his stuff. One of the few in the main stream media that actually knows what he is talking about when the conversation goes to hoops.

he started his career covering the Bulls and shadowing Michael, Scottie, and Phil, so if he wants to say something like that it deserves consideration

so covering the bulls gives him credibility to say something absolutely ridiculous?

I forgot - Rome was in fact built in a day. it wasn't too long ago the roster featured Jamal Crawford and Zach Randolph.

sad thing is, I would take both of them back to jettison some of the guys we have now...

You can accept it or reject it, but what I'm saying is he has a unique perspective. All things being equal, who do you think LeBron would like to with *today* - Wade or Melo? LBJ and Melo played damned well together in the Olympics against Nigeria. If you would stop being blinded by hatred you would see that Melo's strengths fit perfectly with LBJ's game. You don't think so? I'd love to hear why not

I don't think either of those guys have the defensive skills of Mike or Scotti. Hell, I'm not sure either of them is as offensive potent as Mike or Scotti. Lebron is too unselfish to ever put up the numbers those 2 could and Melo would need too many shots to match their output.

the fact that you can't even have an unrelated thread without some tool here bringing him up make me think that rational minds are few and far between. Bunch of emotionally weak, angst riddled people. I mean, how many times can you argue the same shyt

i don't know what lebron "likes" I do think he likes winning.. He has won 2 rings with wade and wade is a better all around player than carmelo.. why would lebron like playing with carmelo over wade? honestly why would anybody? I don't think wade and lebron are a perfect fit, but they do compliment one another especially when running and the fact that both are damn good defenders.....I can't picture lebron wanting to play with someone who loves to shoot and not defend..

Wade's getting older. Lebron should look to team up with Harden or Durant.

and the crux of the matter with melo will always be who does he fit well with. i mean any gm is going to have a very hard time finding players that successfully fit around or with melo. not even great chemistry guys are going to have success with someone who is really unconcerned and likely incapable with meshing his own game to others.

how high is melo's bbiq on a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being the highest?

knicks win 38-43 games in 16-17. rose MUST shoot no more than 14 shots per game, defer to kp6 + melo, and have a usage rate of less than 25%

they compiled an empty-calorie 54-win regular season and then were exposed by the celtics before being punished by the pacers. they have done nothing to improve and the team is once again in disarray with a coach who plays favorites. i predict a regression and dissension among a couple of factions.

you want rocking? talk to me when this melo-ocracy and melo-ocrity reaches the eastern conference finals. you had better hope to god they secure the 3rd seed too or they may not even get out of the first round.

What a horrible waste of time it was to read this garbage. I guess you are somehow a better fan of the team then some of the guys who don't agree with the direction of the team. A+ for being a lemming
