Shump needs to work on his game so playing him at the point where he just dribbles the ball up court and dumps it off to someone is a waste of his time IMO. He was playing SF a lot last season, now PG in the summer league, God forbid he actually plays the 2 so he can work on his offense. He looks rusty out there and needs the work.

Tyler looks rough around the edges to put it lightly. THJ showed some nice moves and Murray looked good too at times.

i dont like shumpert at the point. i would rather him remain at the 2 or 3 and continue to develop his shot and drive to the hoop

I agree shump has never been a PG and never will be.

THJ playing within himself. I'm really impressed by Austin Rivers. He looks stronger and he's playing under control. He might develop into a player after all.

The only guy outside of our drafted players that I thought looked like an NBA player was Murrie. I don't think hes a PG(maybe?) but his body language --him and Hardaway looked the parts of an NBA player. Leslie did a few nice things but his body language and intensity is not there. He made a few nice dribble moves--one nice dish but was he playing hard? Not really there were guys playing hard but theyre just not that good. I thought I saw Chris Smith ask out of the game???? I didnt love how the Knicks coaches did the minutes. Let the starters play 30+ and just switch it every other game unless someone just scks. I think you need minutes for rhythm

leslie is looking good to start the 2nd, shump looks horrible playing the point

What's the deal with Vargas. He didn't do anything at Kentucky.

THJ is nothing like JR off the floor. Smart kid and solid character.

THJ and CJ Leslie really coming on strong in the 2nd half.

Shump pushing the ball on 2nd half looks good.

Really like the Tour Murry kid. He's like a skinny Shump.

Jeremy Tyler still making mistakes offensively, but you can see the talent. In fact the Knicks have some interesting bigs in SL. McMorrow and Vargas look interesing. Vargas has hit 2 sweet long jumpers. McMorrow is huge. 7-2 270.

shumps pushing the ball and going no where, it's like a guy speeding up to a red light

I know they want to give THJ the minutes at the 2, but I'd rather Shump came off the bench or even played the 3 today.

Well that was my point. He ONLY reminds me of jr's play not his off the court issues

He's looking pretty good. hit some jumpers, active under the boards.

Shump hasn't been bad running point. He had one bad TO but aside from that he was fine. It's gonna take some time for Shump to keep developing comfort at PG. I really like this Toure Murry kid. Good defender and has some nice talent.

Can't hurt to get Shump used to playing the 1 a little in case of injuries. But yeah, he doesn't look good at the point at all.

Hahn just reporting that Monta Ellis is going to the Mavericks. Their signing have made little sense so far. Letting OJ Mayo go and signing Ellis for more money seems like a lateral move.

Tyler settling down, getting himself in the right places on the floor to have an impact.

I like seeing him take that charge.

I'd like to see him be as aggressive as Andre Drummond was. Tyler should be the most physically dominant man on teh court.

Leslie should model his game after Lamar Odom. He's going to hvae bulk up some and get some range on his jumper.
