It will be interesting to see how Kidd coaches his peers and party buddies. Great move by nj/bk. I can't remember a draft night where two hofs were traded. What does the dismantling of the celts say about Rondo?

IMHO it doesn't say anything about Rondo. Celts didn't want to pay Pierce $15M and probably would have bought him out... so not even paying $5M and getting SOMETHING in return is good. If they had bought out Pierce and kept KG for a season... with Rondo missing a large swath of next year, that maybe gets them a first round exit?

I am gonna guess they move Bass too eventually. And maybe Rondo next draft.

I'm guessing they move Rondo before he suits up because the 2014 draft already has more buzz than last night's. This is speculative on my part but I do not think Boston's management likes or trusts him very much, so I do not think they want to build a franchise around him
