The differences of ratings between the 2 major sites is quite evident and shows how this draft is unpredictable. Simply its over saturated with guys who are ranked very close. They have a comparison of SF/SG on Draftnet---the article closes by talking about Carrick felix who is the best transition player from the wing in the draft by numbers and easily one of the best 1-1 defenders yet hes not in their top 60 even though he is 6-6 with a 40 inch vertical and nearly a 40% 3 pt shooter. Thera re going to be players drafted at 48 potentially better than those drafted at 18.

Is that a bad thing we are picking #24

He has a sick physical body freak like. When was the last guy measured at 6-9 240 with a 7-3 wingspan and a a nearly 38 inch vertical? Its like a Lebron James body. So will he play hard and play his role rebounding opportunstic shot making exploding on fast brek defense? If he can watch out--hell be a lottery type talent as a 4 man like a Josh Smith. If he can be a player like that--thats a nice pick at 24 I hope the Knicks can find a high 2 pick and grab a PG if we go big--we are desperate for a solid back up. A Tony Mitchell Isiah Cannan draft would make us much more athletic. I like both of their bodies for the nBA.

Yeah I know KMART 2.0 to me is damn good value at 24 thats what I was saying.

Some draft scuttle: Rockets have been offered chance to shed contract of PF Thomas Robinson for first-round pick in next Thursday's draft

Apparently they would draft a euro so they wouldn't have a cap hit and then offer Howard a max deal.

Thomas needs to be on a veteran team and be put in the post. I wish NY had a chance at him but they don't.

We always lose when we trade with Morey- he finds a way (Dolan) to screw us every time- he looks like he enjoys it!

Why would we want Robinson. All he's proven is that he's quickly being. Say aside by his teams. Remember they Lso see him in practice

24. New York Knicks - Allen Crabbe, SG, California (6’6, 18.1 ppg, 6.1 rpg, 2.6 apg)

According to sources, the Knicks are another team that will be focused on a point guard with their first-round pick. But they may address another need if Larkin is off the board.

Crabbe makes a lot of sense for New York as he is a terrific shooter who can play off the ball and benefit from open looks created by Carmelo Anthony. Crabbe is not an elite athlete but is a long wing that is polished and can contribute right away.

Should the Knicks decide on a point guard, Myck Kabongo of Texas could be a name to watch. He is working his way up draft boards with great workouts and will be in New York next week.

Best case scenario would be to come out of this draft with Mitchel and Kabongo.

Green room invites from a poster on nbadraftnet forums.
Via multiple sources...

Nerlens Noel (Kentucky); Victor Oladipo (Indiana); Otto Porter (Georgetown); Alex Len (Maryland); Anthony Bennett (UNLV); Ben McLemore (Kansas); Trey Burke (Michigan); Michael Carter-Williams (Syracuse); C.J. McCollum (Lehigh) and Cody Zeller (Indiana).

Usually around 15 players are invited and these are some names in consideration...

Georgia's Kentavious Caldwell-Pope,
Pittsburgh's Steven Adams,
UCLA's Shabazz Muhammad,
Gonzaga's Kelly Olynyk
Greece's Giannis Antetokounmpo,.

Muscala seems to be making his way back into the first round in some of the mocks I have seen. CNNSI has the Knicks taking Gobert.

I am starting to wonder if Gobert falls all the way to 24. If so should the Knicks pick him? He is huge.

Looking at the different mocks I continue to doubt teams ahead of us pass on Tony Mitchell. Brooklyn and Indiana could use a guy like Mitchell.

According to Berman's article in the NY Post the Knicks are looking for help on the perimeter.

I figure we are looking at Ledo, Franklin, and Snell. Ledo seems like he can contribute scoring off the bench next year.

He looks like Tyson on d in his game film tapes. He also is a very good finisher on the pick and roll. It appears he only goes to his right no matter what when he posts up and spins. He was ending up behind the backboard and almost falling out of bounds on his tapes.

The last time we took a 7-2 French C in the first round it was a disaster. Using that mentality--Brendan Haywood is not a bust but you missed Tony Parker. So in reality--you busted. He looks soft has very little base strength/balance. He will be a fringe NBA player at best--see what Thabeet does for OKC.

He is 21 and has been heavily scouted for several years. He was in the top 15 for a long time. He worked out for Portland with Steven Adams recently and they had good things to say about him. I think it would be hard to let him go past 24. Aside from Pau, Joe Johnson and Randolph everyone missed on Tony Parker. I am not saying there won't be guys that have better careers but that size is hard to pass up at 24. He also is smart, has good character and his father was a pro.

We already have a 7-2 C who cant play offense? This guy is 3 years away--this is a draft and stash type. Does anyone think he can play on the big stage in the nBA he wasnt very good in the French leagues. Also going by your arguement--why is he falling like a rock? If a 7-2 player was good--hed be gone by 24. Name 1 7-2 player in NBA history picked at 24 or after who was good.

You are being kind of specific with height. The center that stands out as a tremendous steal was Laimber as a second round pick. (I googled it.)
