Three years from now we'll have another few new guys say you didnt say crap about Christian Wood or Tyler Harvey.

you have touted a billion guys in 10000 different posts.

if you manned up and created a Briggs Draft Sticky Post and we can all follow and see a centralized history of your predictions, then you can tout your victories.

this spaghetti posting as if you were a tabloid writer is not cool and very old school

Briggs, if you agreed to do this, I promise that I would read everything you wrote and would be the first to praise your winners.

The way you do it today, there is zero accountability. Its like when Iverson can shoot 30 shots a game at < 40% and nobody realized since they could not accurately keep track.

This was my pick--I make one last pick every year. The year before I picked Vucevic--he just happened to go a spot before we picked.

and instead of telling me who you picked (which may have been great picks), why can't I just go directly to the "briggs draft 201X sticky"??

really! why are you so against this? (and refuse to address it)

if you have a valid reason, just state it.

Do you feel that it will get less hits then the compilation of all the posts? Maybe ... and maybe that is valid. But you can't/shouldn't get proper credit unless you organized and document your picks and show the timeline.

Could you imagine if twitter documented their API's instead of in one central location, but by breaking it into 10000 pieces and randomly posting it?

Everyone has the ability to make a pick before the draft--maybe pick someone else for a 2nrounder first second choice etc or if we acquire a second 1..I find players during the year and pick them out for others to see--and I think you are confusing this with a final pick choice. No one has made a draft pick here other than Towns at number 1 for the most part--you really cant make a pick until June. You can like this guy that guy make prognostications but it really is impossible to make a last pick until June.

I get that ...

but why not have a draft thread dedicated to you? You know that martin and andrew would allow this.

You can change your mind everyday, but there is a timeline .... why don't you want a timeline?

really man, give it up, no one care about 1 thread except you. If you got something to add, please do.

Actually I apologize martin--Im not picking back posts anymore--not worth the time.

I think that others definitely care and they also can enjoy and benefit from it as well.

I would love to hear the valid argument against it.

this is a discussion board about different knicks related topics, if you don't want to read this thread, bypass it. End of story.

yikes. people are picking on BRIGGS. lol.when it comes to draft picks..NO ONE knows what theyll get...not BRIGGS, not me, people on this board or NBA executives. DO people realize that no one cares about what we think because we arent real executives. lol. i thought this was all for fun, i cant take anyones guesses (because thats all they are) too seriously.

for the record; i still like muscala and i just think he needs a chance. is he a star? nope but he can contribute.

Knicks should be improved: win about 40 games and maybe sneak into the playoffs. Melo, Rose and even Noah will have some nice moments however this team should be about PORZINGUS. the sooner they make him the primary player, the better

I get the backlash about Brigg's back post bravado but Martin is right, if you don't want to go there, then don't.
The posts are on topic and Briggs makes the effort. Sure he might be reactive to whats in front of him but most of us are.

We read many posters after a guy has a good game "he is a max guy", or if lackluster, "Dude is not worth the money"........

I really don't mind if Briggs pulls the back posts when a guy develops over time. Its a reminder that teams have a plan and should stick to it..

thats like saying that I know that Iverson was a good scorer cause I saw him shoot.

don't want to beat a dead horse though

I am a metrics guy and want data.

I want to see metrics to (help) me determine how a player is doing,

I would want metrics to help me determine how successful one is with their predictions

so here is what phil is thinking ....
