Therefore adding Amar'e at this time creates more of a CLUSTERFLUCK...NO THANKS I'LL PASS
Amar'e is NOTHING like Melo or JR. Amar'e for his career is one of the most efficient players in NBA history. Before he got hurt he was scoring at 58% and had a PER of 22. He was helpful to this team as a big man. He was drawing fouls and he hit FT's at 80%. We won't need him for major minutes, but those minutes could be huge for this team.
You also have to remember that having Amar'e out there effects the way the Pacers defend and that could open up single coverage for our perimeter players.
Amar'e is dependent on receiving the ball and is not a ball mover. Is he pretty good with moving in the flow of the offense and taking advantage of his opportunities, and plays more high PACENTAGE....sure....
Nevertheless he's a Blackhole.....and really no better than Copeland shot for shot besides being slightly more dynamic. Amar'e against this front court will probably get his ISH pushed in his face. Oh and we know defensively Amar'e is every once in a blue moon surprising, otherwise he turnstyles into a sieve....
I think some of the recent posting wreaks of desperation
you may have a point there, but after getting dose after dose of carmelo and JR smith, can you blame some of these post? lol..
amare does bring something different to this team, and that is points in the paint.. something we seem to struggle with...
