He went to Harvard

I think there was also a movie made about him, I forgot what it was called. Anybody knows?

Jesus and David take Thailand

It was rated best of breed for indy films! Hot chicks were in it, too!

The talking pop up book was much better though, IMO.

Imagine if Lin were still with us? Lin loves New York. He loves the Knicks. Imagine Lin and Carmelo together just tearing it up night after night.

Carmelo didn't want to share his toys with lin.... he felt it was "ridiculous" that lin was offered that kind of money... so there you go...

Melo is just as good if not better than Darant. The one thing that holds him back is when he goes into crybaby mode. That throws his whole game off. The great players use adversity to their advantage. I think about AI. For better or worse that guy thought the whole world was out to get him. George Karl channeled that to make AI the fiercest competitor in league history. I'm gonna stop the thread derailment but I just had to say that.

you are not accurately and HONESTLY assessing his game...

Its just my opinion but 99% of what holds Melo back is mental. All the talent is there. When Melo is on his game the combo of outside shooting and drives to the basket make him one of the leagues best if not unstoppable.Once again I know people have different views on the subject but this is my opinion.

While I respect your opinion, I believe you are wayyyyy off, think about this, Durant at 24 years old has already established himself at the 2nd best player in the NBA today, Melo at 28 still having maturity issues sometimes.
Obviously the mental part of the game is what separate the truly great players from the all-stars, and is not as easy to overcome, the player must be a TRUE STUDENT of the game, talent is not enough.

I have to admit I have never seen a star be thrown of his game so easy before. Him waiting for KG told the league all they need to know about getting in his head.

The only thing that's amusing about the situation is the following. The Knicks and owner felt betrayed. This is the same owner that put the worst product in the league out there in the biggest city of the world, betraying his fans for years with the highest pricest in the league. He allowed Isiah to cost him close to 150MM in revenues and was upset he was going to have to pay 15MM in luxury tax for one season to someone that energized the fan pace, brings new markets and additional money and visibility to the team. He paid Larry Brown what to go away? Eddy Curry to not play, Jerome James?
So at the end of the day are you ****ing joking? This is the same piece of trash that said Marv Albert wanted to much money and he was unwilling to pay. Come on!

We have no guards on this team, it's the biggest area of weakness. You need as much talent as possible in this city. The kid had something, Felton does not, Kidd is past his prime and JR is mentally imbalanced. So we don't have the luxury of ever improving till tyson and amare's contract run out and by that time Melo is on the downside of his career.

there is no way around it. No matter how you swing it basketball and the KNicks came second after whatever MSG agendas existed.

OR

They just didnt think he was worth the cash.

Either way (as usual) king James is wrong and is a donkee

I understand, I respect your opinion, but I just don't agree.. carmelo isn't as diverse offensively as some want to believe.. take a look at Dwayne wade, this guy can score the ball in as many ways as i have seen any player do.. what I see in carmelo is a guy who can hit the jumper, or drive, but don't you see how often he is getting his shot blocked when he drives? When I look at guys like durant, wade, kobe, I see guys who can score easily, with little effort.. It seems carmelo has to work super hard to score.

with that said, You are entitled to your opinion.. and again, I respect that..

pretty much.... plus the knicks never offered lin a contract.. they told him to go and get an offer and they would match pretty much? I mean what was lin supposed to do? tell the rockets not to offer him a poison pill contract so he can use them to get a decent deal out of the knicks?

Lin was better as a Knick - His Defensive Rating was 101 as a Knicks and it's 107 as a Rocket
Felton is even worse as a Knick as his Defensive Rating is 109.
Lins is better offensively too. Lin 105 to Felton 102.
This is all according to NBA Reference.

Everyone needs a boogeyman as the reason for their ills...Enter Melo..If wasn't for that guy we would be Denver and Houston combined...

Why is everybody hung up on 12 points and 6 assists a game. Jeremy Lin isn't the reason the Knicks are struggling right now. I wish the dude well, but geez.

geez, each time the knicks lose were gonna bring up Linsanity. LOL. let it go man
Knicks should be improved: win about 40 games and maybe sneak into the playoffs. Melo, Rose and even Noah will have some nice moments however this team should be about PORZINGUS. the sooner they make him the primary player, the better
