![]() These arent substantive, interesting convos. Its a back and forth with people who have a pathological, chemically imbalanced hatred for our best player, and in my opinion a great guy. This stuff from you guys is psychobabble. There are things in this world I have a distaste for --- sometimes even irrationally. I dont frequent message boards that are in favor of such things or people, in an attempt to constantly belittle and attack the object of their support and fandom. This is supposed to be a place of enjoyment. Why are you insistent on acting so aggressively annoying? whats wrong with you? From where I sit --- its very hard to muster any respect for you guys. IM just being real.
Enough is enough. Goddamn TKF/3G4G Its time to grow up. You guys are grown men in your 40s acting like little children. Your posts are ridiculous...you guys are saying any and everything you can possibly say in order to get a rise out of people, and satisfy your anti-Melo fetishism. Take your aliases, and go to some Rockets/Nuggets board where you can hate on Melo to your hearts content, and more importantly to a receptive audience, and have productive, reasonable convos about Lin, Gallo, etc. My saliva and spit can split thread into fiber and bits/ So trust me I'm as live as it gets.

I was actually in a thread the other day somewhat defending Melo over Kobe Bryant as a more favorable MVP. I've heavily criticized Gallo this year. I am not one who started a thread to get a rise out of a certain portion of fan base discussing a former player's(LIN) early season's struggles prematurely. The recent discussion center around Melo's unprofessional overreaction to a known baitor in Garnett. This is not a Melo witch hunt by any stretch of the imagination. What you and many others need to come to grips with.....stop being super sensitive and overly emotional because Melo puts himself in bad situations and not being able to stomach the results in the media. We're waiting to see a true leader on this team and there have been so many chances for Melo and others to show it. |

![]() I'm just, you know, I don't know how to handle this, Melo was a hero to me and most people I know,
Sometimes when a legend fails like this, you take it hard on yourself, too, I just want Melo to come out of this stronger and drop buckets next time, mad buckets The Will, check out the Official Home of Will's GameDay Art: http://tinyurl.com/thewillgameday

So you criticize his already unprofessional act (yes, I too think he deserved the suspension) because you wanted him to do something even more unprofessional? As a fan I want Melo to exercise the best professionalism possible in a negative situation. Heck I want him to be professional at all times..... when times are good or bad but.... If he felt he couldn't control himself in this situation and he's going to react then I would have respected him more if he actually did something action worthy. Do not fake your anger, you either do nothing at all or do something. Garnett is worthy of a punch to the face several times over but you have to overcome internal emotions and take the high road. I already stated an example of how Melo should handle Garnett and that's by doing what Lebron did to him/Celtics last year. |

I sure can chuck, and I have said many times what I would have done.. I would have on the very next play, let garnett get the ball and I would have taken his got damn head off as he drove to the hoop...
I am not arguing that melo should not have been upset.... I am just questioning his actions and wondering why so many people are surprised and upset that he got a one game suspension... If you feel carmelo was within his personal rights then you should have no problem with the suspension.. Actually we agree there (I even quoted one of your previous posts and said Melo should get some pointers from Lebron on that). I just dont think punching him and getting even more games than he already has is gonna help. Hes already missing one which is bad enough. Personally I have no problem with the Melo suspension, surprised KG didn't get so much as a warning for his part. It's sorta like the leave the bench rule which screwed the Knicks that one year vs Miami in the 90s. It sucks but that's the NBA law. |

IM just being real. this post is pretty much equivalent with the behavior carmelo displays..... Trying to get a rise out of people? please, all we have to say is carmelo is human and bleeds when cut and you guys go nuts.... It is simple, and I want you to listen closely to what I have to say.. 1) Garnett is a douchebag, but he can play and is a master at getting under your skin.. It is not against the rules to get under opposing players skin!!!!!!!!!! 2) carmelo lacks control, this we have seen all year, but lets say garnett crossed the line, then carmelo had every personal right to do whatever he felt necessary to defend his honor.. 3) with that said in #2, there are consequences to pay.. why is that so hard to understand? let me ask you this.. had he picked up a chair, hit KG in the head and put him in a coma.. should he not get arrested? Ok, so he didn't do that.. he broke another rule.. one which carries a much lesser penalty, nevertheless a penalty which resulted in a one game suspension.. FACT.. Stop whining and trying to derail the conversation with personal attacks... if you want to waive the white flag, i am sure they have plenty of Gifs that will accomplish that for you!!!!!!! ![]() Stackhouse says make sure no one's filming. ![]() http://www.grantland.com/story/_/id/8820063/the-intertwined-careers-rasheed-wallace-jerry-stackhouse Stackhouse knew that the Dallas crowd cheered just as loudly when he came off the bench as it would have if he were starting. Both Nelson and Avery Johnson had no problem drawing plays for him and letting him loose. That first Dallas season also featured the defining Jerry Stackhouse, Tough Guy story. It happened after Utah rookie Kirk Snyder took a cheap shot at him under the basket during a game. Stackhouse retaliated with one of his own. Both men thought they were even. Nope. They bumped into each other a few plays later and … well, Stackhouse can explain the rest."Boom, he punched me in the stomach with an open fist," Stackhouse said, incredulously. "I was like, 'OK, I can go crazy right now and get suspended for two or three games and lose this money.' The smart side of me said, 'No, I'm not going to do that. But I'm going to get this boy.' You don't put your hands on me. I can deal with a lot of verbal stuff and wolfing and all that, but you put your hands on me, no. And I thought I had cleaned it up, but obviously I hadn't."When the game ended, Stackhouse recalls asking the training staff for a warm-up suit, then waiting on the docks where Utah's bus would depart. "I ain't even shower," Stackhouse recalls. "I put on some sweats, some sneakers, and I went and stood in the tunnel. As soon as [Snyder] came out, I fired on him. I got in a couple. That was it. I don't know where all these security people came from. It probably lasted 20 seconds. Everybody pulled me off and that was it."And that's how an NBA urban legend is born. Only, in this case, it actually happened: the time Jerry Stackhouse saved a few bucks by beating up Kirk Snyder after a Mavs-Jazz game. They ran into each other again the following year, after Snyder had been traded to New Orleans. Again, he approached Stackhouse in the tunnel. "He started walking to me," Stackhouse remembers. "I closed my fists, wondering what's this fool up to, thinking we're about to go in. He just came in and opened his hand out to me and said, 'Man, I really needed that.'" Snyder told Stackhouse that he had been struggling to get onto the court and wanted to impress his coach, Jerry Sloan. "I was just like, 'Damn, next time just get my number. You want to talk to somebody, we can do that without me having to pay a $1,000 fine. But it was the weirdest thing I had ever witnessed. You get into some knuckles with someone and they come back and tell you, 'I needed that.'"t |

They're clearly not fans of this team anymore. Im not sure you're familiar with them, but there were two posters from back in the day (ive been posting here since high school in '02) named DJSunny or whatever, and King1. King went to school, or was a friend of Lee's, so he posted here but when Lee dipped, he bounced himself. DJ, for reasons to himself, stopped caring about knicks and became a Raps fan. He bounced too. I respect them, because instead of hanging around here and infecting the board with childish negativity and annoying the piss out of everyone, they handled their disappointments maturely.
