Why is our defense so bad? How are we so much worse defensively this year than last?

Copeland needs to play for Novak in 2nd Half..He's not giving us anything right now and killing us on defense.

It's only a 4 point game and I believe the Knicks will win but the team just has not looked good the last week or two, imo. We will see. I suspect we will win this game.

Definitely. He's still good and I'm happy we have him but he's clearly a different player than last year.

Last year, you could clearly see he was playing great D without looking at stats. You could just see it. This year, he is not altering nearly as many shots, the guys he guards are having a positive impact on games more often, he seems far more frustrated more often, etc. He has not been bad. He has just been different and I prefer last years Chandler.

His help defense seems to be the biggest problem. He just doesn't seem to be able to cover the whole floor like he used to.

Novak has been wide open a bunch of times. I agree they should put in Copeland if no one passes to him, but its not for the lack of Novak being open.

We look terrible right now..but it's a long season. Hopefully we can dig in and pull this out. Our Frontline is very week and small right now.

I haven't noticed him open that much. I did notice him pass up a open 3 to pass to Melo for no reason. that's a sign of lost confidence.

We ain't winning this one- we must have about one offensive rebound, we're getting no second chance opportunities, we're shooting badly while they're on fire and we're playing little defense. Refs helped us out with some dodgy foul calls, AK47 gets benched and we still can't take the lead. Absolute garbage!

Yep. Its not looking too good.

Knicksfan: Hypocrite league that fines players after the game for flopping but in the game and with obvious flopping they call the fouls.

Novak's been out on the wing alone waving his arms. Sometimes it worked out because they went inside for the score but I still believe there should be more of an effort to get him in gear. It usually only takes a couple of 3s in a row for Novak to find his shot.

i said the same thing to myself.. he could have pulled the trigger there and should have..

That is pretty sad. Have to chalk up some of it to his bad hands. I just wish Felton would drive more since he's one of the best PGs when it comes to taking it to the rim this season. His improved conditioning has a lot to do with it.
