so does having talented players

Individual talent is over rated. In any team context, the most delicate work is getting players to trust the head man. The most amazing thing about Duke Ellington was not the treasure chest of great American music he produced.

It was the fact that he got all those brothas to show up on time.

No question coaching and talent goes hand and hand. Thats why I dont get why last year the knicks team was full of holes with guys lije td fields jeffries and walker playing major minutes why a lot of people placed all the blame on Melo. On top of that it was a injury riddled year. You can say Dantoni didnt have the talent but the knicks werent even competive at 18-24

If you are still following the team and reading sites like this, there is nothing, short of your own demise, that is going to throw you off this train.

and off a back2back. This team is 4REAL
the fact that you can't even have an unrelated thread without some tool here bringing him up make me think that rational minds are few and far between. Bunch of emotionally weak, angst riddled people. I mean, how many times can you argue the same shyt

Knicks don't even run SSOL. The Knicks run Melo in the post a lot. That is where ball movement is created most of the time, if Melo is doubled. They also run pick and roll which Dantoni did not invent. The Knicks do not even push the ball really and have one of the slower paces in the NBA. The only similarity is that under Dantoni and Woodson a lot of threes are shot. However, under Woodson, the threes are usually good attempts.

For the record, we're 1/4 of the way thru the season now, and still on top!

MDA needs to get some credit. For something. I'll give him credit for total misuse of the roster which resulted in him being replaced by someone who can coach.

I specifically liked how fast Ty Lawson ran, despite losing.

Moz was inspiring as well. But that's always a given.

Still early, but the last couple of days i have been watching games around the league, and i gotta tell ya, a lot of teams look confused, Take bad shots, and are really inconsistant.. teams are just young, inexperience, and lazy..

Could never understand the whole rebuilding thing, it's painfull to watch
