Proky is a Jokey. So is his team. He makes those statements to feed the media and the Knicks haters. They are no world-beaters, or even NYC-beaters with that crew they have. All they really did was add Iso Joe. No big deal. All the rest of nothing but media marketing hype. The Nets will ALWAYS be nothing but the scum under the shoes of true Knicks fans. As far as I'm concerned, ain't a damn thing changed.

I was born in Brooklyn, raised in Brooklyn, currently live in Brooklyn and STILL and will ALWAYS remain a KNICKS fan. Period.

Spike Lee, I hear you, brotha. Real fans don't switch up, even if the wannabe "rival" from Jersey sets up shop in our back yard. Whatever.

Let the fickle fools toot the Nets' horn. That team won't "take over" anything outside of the corner of Flatbush & Atlantic Avenues. Those scraps, they can have.

The one thing that I am glad about with the whole Brooklyn Nets stuff is that it forces the Knicks to step up their game in more ways than one. We've seen the effects of that pressure already. Having the little Nets trying to make themselves relevant in this city, will keep the Knicks on their toes.

That Barclays Arena is less than 20 blocks from my house, and looks like an old, rust-ridden spaceship that crashed there a long time ago.

Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

The funny thing is this....

Had the Knicks traded for Joe Johnson then paid Lopez a max deal the whining and anti-Knick posts on this board would be unbearable. It's already unbearable now with all the whining regarding Lin and Gallo (yes, people are still crying about Gallo)...

Really? c'mon man, we bashing "my boy" Prokhorov here and you kill it trying to bait with that Lin and that Gallo phantom "whining"?

If Knicks traded nothing for Joe and RESIGNED basically a 20 and 8 guy knicks would have starphuched it so good, all slippery and wet going down that most of you would be circle jerking the next championship and hailing Dolan as the messiah!

BroPez is not a 20mm guy. He is not paid that. about 15mm. Look around and see what centers make. It s not crazy.

If you look at him objectivly you might say he is at the very least a top 10 center in the league who with a strong team around him could really shine. I don't think JJ has played with a talent like Dwill so i'd reserve judgement until we see it on the court than on paper. Shaq had some nice things to say about BroPez today and I suppose we just dismiss shaq as the clown if he says anything not condusive to the knicks (whole world is against the knicks?). If you take what his says with a grain of salt, BroPez (if healthy) is a top ten center. He is soft on Defense and his rebounding is weak but he plays on the perimeter on offense which dilutes his rebounding but it shooting does create space.

Soon it will all be sorted out on the court!

Mark Cuban hasn't been a happy camper this past summer and rightfully so. After losing out on Deron Williams when he decided to go back to the Nets instead of joining his hometown team, the Dallas Mavericks, Cuban took it to the Nets owner Mikhail Prokhorov whenever he could.

In what could be Cuban's most recent jab at the Russian billionaire, it seems as though the Mavs owner has bought the rights to the domain name of Nets.com. Across the middle of the page, the site has a message reading

"Looking for the New Jersey Nets? Looking for the Brooklyn Nets? They're not here...but they SHOULD be!

After all, there's just one team: The Nets!"

In the lower left corner, there's a picture of Mark Cuban sticking his tongue out. Wonder who that's for? Under that image, you'll see a copyright symbol next to the name of David Yellen. A quick Google search will show you that Mr. Yellen has snapped many pics of Cuban in the past. But wait, that isn't the best part.

On the bottom of the page, there is a message in Russian, which was probably meant for Prokhorov, and it reads, more or less:

"Michael, have you noticed? Vilena wondered..."

As you probably already know, Michael is referencing Mikhail while the Vilena part is a reference to a Russian prostitute. Now, what you may not know is that back in January 2007, Prokhorov was arrested on suspicion of arranging prostitutes for his guests. Even though the billionaire was cleared of the charge and the case was dismissed two years later, it looks like Cuban is trying to rehash some old moments.

That's pretty awesome by Cuban!

That prostitute story is pretty great of Prokhorov. All Dolan does is arrange Interns!

What did Prok really do to Cuban? Sign Deron? Is that really that big of a lowball move?

Cube being a bit of a geek practical joker. I thought it was funny.

Cube was pretty pissed at Kidd for going to Knicks. Maybe he'll put a woopie cushion on Dolans seat if he takes his usual Texas road trip!

Maybe Cube will send Kidd a bottle of Dom P and the keys to his favorite SUV!
