the experience here has been different since the Knicks started winning. I'm much happier overall. I love going to the Garden and seeing good ball again. But the experience on the board is worse.

Some of it is offseason. Some of it is people caring more about being right than being excited about a good team moving forward. (The Knicks had a starter on the second best team in Olympic history and another guy who set the USA Olympic scoring record.) Some of it is new guys coming from places like Real GM and treating it like it's the same thing--it's not. (I cam from the ****hole known as Real GM.)

Anyway, I think you're right. It's still lovely. But I gotta say, I had more fun on this message board when the Knicks were a ****ing joke of a franchise. As crazy as that sounds

How do we enforce such a rule? What do we do with those that are unbelievers? Do we allow greater leniency in the offseason? What about former players who were knicks? If we discuss Gallo, do we discuss it as a former player or as a Nugget?

Is there to be enforcement from the Mod? Or shall the Elders cast thy poster labeling them a "hater" for violation and marked for persecution? Is a confessional and forgiveness for moments of weakness to be tolerated?

Its obvious some think Melo is the savior but not everyone is convinced? With MDA "Judas" expelled can old testament tolerate the belief or can only a trip to the finals or an MVP award convince?

So many things to decide.

I could be wrong but I believe you posted that you post net stuff here because this forum has the most users/readers. Trying to integrate another team into a team specific forum doesn't make sense to me personally. I know the conversation is good here and the posters know basketball. However, this is a team specific sub forum on a site for a specific team. I don't see lots of threads about the sixers or celtics. Generally threads about other teams are limited to game threads or occassionally trade or free agent related.

Trust me, there has been far more written about Nalod and the N**ts than Nalod ever wrote about the N**ts!

Of late, more has been written about what is written than any actual content of all subjects!

Ha, there probably has! I do actually like your Knicks posts, which has made this difficult- its like having a friend who has developed a crystal meth habit and it's getting to a the point you feel you might have to arrange an intervention to help them

Imagine how good my N*Ts posts could be?

Like I said, easy 20-1 ratio of what I have written vs. what others keep talking about. I also contend they are not subliminal N*t posts either.

At the very least I provide some content to be discussed. The Rainman that habitually suggests I move on says nothing.

At least I now have some redeeming thoughts when the N*ts beat the Knicks. Perhaps they can blame "Haters" for the sheer suggestions that defeat was even possible!

Nets won't be beating anyone with just offense. Been there, done that.

Bonn's got my support!

A really effective way to enjoy this board is to use the ignore option. It does wonders!

Yes, but if I allow myself to contemplate the horror of just how alone I am, I would just off myself (not that anyone would care). #copingmechanisms.

This is one of the best forums I've ever been on, and ive got experience with many. It's active, people are generally mature and respectful, and most people seem offer something intelligent or at least entertaining. You won't find a board much better than this. Ok, my ass kissing is done...

Well sure you don't have to care you just laugh at the sorry mess of a team. I've been posting on Oakland raider boards for years. You can't take anything seriously when your team is that pitiful. It's always...what embarrassing thing will happen next? When my teams are run by Jim Dolan and previously Al Davis, it's nothing but a laughing stock. Some of the best times on those boards were when they were at their worst.

In the "Oh Phuch it" thread go read for yourself. If nobody wants to talk about it would not have been talked about. It dies, goes away like all expired threads.

That about sums it up.
But as Martin wrote it is the offseason.

I think, this is now the "Pre-season" for posters to refine their skills and get in shape so they are ready for the real season.

I actually thought last season was a lot of fun with the team recovering to gain a playoff spot and Linsanity was a blast!

This team is a lot of things but not boring!

This used to be such a lovely forum.

Shouldn't you be making love to your giant Sly the Fox doll you net lover?

Shouldn't you re-up your reading glasses prescription? Try responding to a guns post if you're trying to goad responses from an irate nets lover.

And isn't there some search function thing or other you're supposed to be working on, rather than posting about your mascot fetish?

Ahhh, the neverending beauty of post count/join date logic.

Pathetic, yet classic!

You don't think there's anything bizarre about a guy in his first week on the forum telling everyone else how to post? Every forum I've posted on, new people (people who are legitimately new) just try to figure out how things are run in the forum.

So you need to run up a post count in order to tell everyone how to post? Stupid is as stupid does. If you're dumb and drunk in a bar it doesn't really matter if you've been there 1 day or 40 years. Or does it?

I just find it odd and a bit goofy to be pointing at join dates and post counts on the internet as a means to validation of anything.

I've been here a long time, have lots of posts. Does that make me any more brilliant?

Case closed.

You, ChuckBuck, Foosball and Jmpsaq should forms new forum Trolls-R-Us. Then you can tell each other how to post all day long since no one else gives a sh!t.

Me? I just wish I wouldn't have to read this garbage every time I come here. A man can dream.

And on the "topic" of fireflies and ****roaches, I have a question: if you step on a firefly, does it feel de-lighted?

You should join a Phonics club. Might help that dyslexic reading comprehension thing you've got going there.

Minimally, it might improve your jokes.
