Crush On An Orange

Arrives at the arena three hours early

He born in Munich, Germany and moved to the United States at the age of three, but also spent a portion of his childhood living in Japan while his mother worked for the National Security Agency

23 years old and four years in the league. Came out of college too early.

Frequent contributor to the Sacramento Kings Read to Achieve program, routinely visiting elementary schools and speaking with students about the importance of literacy and education

6'11 Donte Green is an excellent fit for a NYK roster spot for the veterans minimum.

You're kidding me right? Clearly, when I'm talking about the worst-case scenario for Jeremy Lin's career I'm not saying that his career will resemble his worst game so far.

Now the joy of my world is in Zion How beautiful if nothing more Than to wait at Zion's door I've never been in love like this before Now let me pray to keep you from The perils that will surely come

Substitution pattern.

Every point guard in the league would've taken a back seat to Lin at his best.

crzymdups - you make an excellent point. NBA TV is showing the top ten Jeremy Lin Knicks games, which puts him in an elite class with Michael Jordan.

Don't Hate The Answer Man Because He Sees The Future Clearer Than Tiny Archibald on The Break

Q. bonn1997 - Lin's gone. Why are you still talking about him?

A. Because, just like Marcus Camby, Jason Kidd, Raymond Felton, Amar'e Stoudemire, JR Smith, Steve Novak, Pablo Prigioni, Kurt Thomas, Carmelo Anthony (and hopefully Rahway homeboy Earl Clark or Donte Green of Syracuse) ALL understand there is no place like New York, a homesick Jeremy Lin will be back in a Knicks uniform within four years.

Book it.

better question - who is carmelo going to blame now that Lin is gone?

"Let's be frank about it," he said. "When it comes to the Knicks, we're talking about one particular point in time. We're talking about the whole 'Linsanity' thing. That's when it started. That's when it started to escalate as far as people saying I was selfish."

http://www.usatoday.com/sports/olympics/london/basketball/story/2012-08-03/carmelo-anthony-new-york-knicks-olympics-usa-basketball/56747268/1

if carmelo hadn't heard himself called selfish in his career before linsanity, i'm not sure he was listening. i think our own mister earl used to implore melo to "Move the Ball - Find the Open Man"

really bad sign for the future of the knicks, imho, if melo thinks the only reason people asked him to pass is linsanity.

he just doesn't seem to get it. when was the last time a player who didn't get how to play winning basketball scored himself to a championship?

just call him starmelobury.

Earl you were one of Lin's biggest supporters what happened in what seems like overnight? I remember arguing with you that Lin needs to get stronger to take hits and you would tell me the kid has heart/guts/etc. And you were right!

Cause he ain't a knick no more - time to move on and talk about OUR players.

If you play against us, you are our enemy.

Just a reminder ... Jeremy Lin shot a whopping combined 34% from the floor against > 500 home teams and > 500 road teams - OUCH!

I don't remember Felton getting this much negative feedback from the fans when he was traded away in the Melo deal.

Because no one wants to talk about Gallo anymore. The standard UK poster stance is to constantly talk ex-Knicks into oblivion. Lin's half-life on the site is now about only 1/3 used up at this point.

the fact that you can't even have an unrelated thread without some tool here bringing him up make me think that rational minds are few and far between. Bunch of emotionally weak, angst riddled people. I mean, how many times can you argue the same shyt

Can't believe Lin fans forgot about this:

Hated that game, I can't stand Deron Williams, but he absolutely whipped Lin's ass!

That and the Miami game were "Reality Checks".

From then on, you can tell it was all a 7 game mirage.
